When you take it out of context, you have all kinds of ammunition to work with, its just that all your ammunition is blanks.

Multiple times it says kill gays, and at least once (Romans, IIRC) it says gays are such scum that they don't get into heaven (no matter how moral they may be, there is no exception)...what the hell more do you need?

If the main book about YOU (say) said those horrific things, the only way you (especially if you claimed to be a moral teacher!) would not condemn that book is if you fully agreed with it....Jesus likely agreed with it because he approved of Moses (Mt 5:17-19, and meeting Moses during the transfiguration, etc.), and his dad approved of Moses (of course), etc.

If the main book about you says kill innocent people, then in 2000 years you speak out against that book (if you disagree with it)! This is not r"ocket surgery."

We don't have a population problem. We can feed the world twice over. We can fit the entire population in Texas and the rest of the land can be used for farming.

Are you purposely being obtuse? Here's the biblical definition of "abomination".

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abomination_(Bible)

That's because I didn't memorize them. I dabble in this topic so I don't have all my ducks in a row.

Sorry, Jesus said "I'm the way, the truth, the life. No man comes to the father except through me."

That was him saying we would each get our own house if we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior. For your sake I really suggest you stop 'explaining Christianity to a Christian. You are really embarrassing yourself.

So Hitler is going to heaven also just by being him?

Jesus likes slavery because he wants to be the big slaver. When he returns he's going to rule over everyone with an iron rod. He wants to force everyone to bey his commands without exception. That makes him the big slave boss. Therefore he had no reason to condemn slavery. He wants everyone to be his slave.

Amputation for stealing vs amputation for touching:

Deuteronomy 25:11-13 (CEB) = "11 If two men are fighting with each other—a man and his fellow Israelite—and the wife of one of them gets into the fight, trying to save her husband from his attacker and does so by reaching out and grabbing his genitals, 12 you must cut off her hand. Show no mercy."

Now, is the husband supposed to cut off his wife's hand for grabbing his attacker by the ______? It seems so if there's just the three of them involved in the fight. Weird stuff.

You will have your chance to ask our Father in heaven, upon your judgment.

Here you go, it's all good.
Leviticus 25:44-46 - Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, [shall be] of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. (Read More...)

Exodus 21:20-21 - And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. (Read More...)

Exodus 21:16 - And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

Galatians 5:1 - Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

    Ephesians 6:5 - Servants, be obedient to them that are [your] masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Colossians 4:1 - Masters, give unto [your] servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 2:18 - Servants, [be] subject to [your] masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

Titus 2:9-10 - [Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters, [and] to please [them] well in all [things]; not answering again; (Read More...)

Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Exodus 21:1-36 - Now these [are] the judgments which thou shalt set before them.

Actually, yeah.................Hitler will eventually make it into Heaven. On the History Channel, they did a special on the Lost Books of the Bible, and one of them was the Gospel of Thomas, and in it was a story about how he was taken down to hell to see the souls that were there, and he asked the angel that brought him down there how long they would stay, and the angel told Thomas that everyone eventually gets out, but it's supposed to be a secret.

Besides...............like I said...................I believe God is too big to be contained by just one dogma or belief system, and if you want to get a true read on who God is, you should really ask the Jews, because that is where Christianity came from, as well as the fact that the Jews were God's Chosen People because they were the only ones that were willing to accept His Word and follow it unquestioningly.

Me? I know who Jesus is, but I also know who Buddha and Lao Tzu are as well. I also have a passing familiarity with Judaism.

And that's why it's not in the Bible, it contradicts it. No, you don't get out eventually and no, Thomas didn't go to hell. Every time hell or punishment is mentioned its eternal.

If it was like that then you go to heaven because of works not because you accepted Jesus as your savior. What would be the point of Jesus dying if everyone eventually goes to heaven?

I would imagine that all the dead LGBTers in the Pulse Club are now in the lake of fire along with their killer.

I would put the number of righteous people in that club about the same as the number of righteous people in Sodom and Gomorrah = almost zero.

For those in the "Create-A-Jesus" sect, please mark through these passages:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. ...

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
