Religions are fairy tales for adults. Should we encourage them to grow up?

Erm, the world is full of people who've undergone all of the above. The passages you cite are all directed at people living in the area of Palestine, people who were supposed (by the authors of these texts) to be faithful to YHWH.

Why on the FSM's green earth would you presume to make these passages about Africans, and indeed all Africans? It's not like there's any shortage of African and African American Christians, either..

Why don't you ask the FSM and see if it will give you an answer that you can accept?

What Palestinian do you know was ever sold as a slave through ships to an entirely different continent? None. I never even heard of Palestinian slaves on any large scale.

Are you upset at the fact that it could be the African Americans who are the true Hebrews who have shown that they exhibited the curses listed in Deuteronomy 28?

What do other continents have to do with it? Your biblical passages are too vague for that to be an issue.

We usually discuss it over dinner, actually.

Today's scientist are echoing the same warning that Noah warned the people back then today the warning is global flooding due to climate change, green house effect, ice age, etc. back then it was about the sins of men today it is about men's environmental irresponsibility.

What other group of people do you know where shipped on boats to a far away land as slaves to a nation they were unfamiliar to en masse? It wasn't the Jews we know of today, because many of them financed the slave trade. So... Which group of people could the bible be speaking of then, hmm?

NO they aren't.. a small increase of perhaps 20 inches will flood some very low lying areas but the earth has endured sea level rises and glaciers advancing and retreating and carving out the landscape for hundreds of millions of years..

If you would study geology, you wouldn't make such silly statements.

Yet the modern threat is merely a coastal one, not a global deluge as imagined in your flat-earther tome.

Well, that is interesting. Does it bear some significant meaning to the population of the world?

Are you saying the scientist are silly? If they were then we are in serious trouble if we can not trust the scientist then who can we trust?

Isaac Newton...perhaps you've heard of him.

    Invented the reflecting telescope
Proposed new theory of light and color
    Discovered calculus
    Developed three laws of motion
    Devised law of universal gravitation
    Advanced early modern chemistry
    Became father of modern science

Not bad for a guy who never grew up.

Watch your own video. No one is talking about a global flood a la dip(*)(*)(*)(*) Noah. The scientists aren't wrong - YOU are.

Should we believe in immoral Gods?

Should we follow immoral Gods like Yahweh and Jesus?

    Are you a moral man?

Having another innocent person suffer for the wrongs you have done, --- so that you might escape responsibility for having done them, --- is immoral.

    Do you agree?

    Regards
    DL

    No....

I'm curious though... How does that make any sense to you? Why would a Rastafarian be talking about Jews and Hebrews?

Because Rastafarians name themselves after Rastafari, Haile Selassie, the king of Ethiopia, who they believe was a direct descendant of David and heir to his throne. They also believe that Africans are the lost tribe of Israel

Rastafari is an Abrahamic religion which developed in Jamaica in the 1930s, following the coronation of Haile Selassie I as Emperor of Ethiopia in 1930. Its adherents worship Haile Selassie I, emperor of Ethiopia (ruled1930–1974), much in the same way as Jesus in his Second Advent, or as God the Father.

Ras means "head" in Amharic as it does in Arabic.

They trace their roots to Coptic Christians and St Mark.

Lets try this again... What does any of that have to do with Jews and Hebrews? Did you just chose Rastafarian because it deals with black people and other people of color? That's the impression I'm getting.

Africa is a continent with many countries and many nationalities and "tribes". So, which nationality could you be referring to?

Rastafarians believe that that Africans are Jews.

I'm referring to the beliefs of Rastafarians, not my own beliefs. When it comes to the Davidic throne, the nationality in question is Ethiopian, as I already mentioned.

As you know, there are many more Jewish African countries than Ethiopia. Not every African is Jewish, so the Rastas would be incorrect.
Also, it isn't the Rastas who are coming out and saying African Americans are the real Hebrews. Its nearly every other nationality under the sun.

    Examples of caucasians admitting it:

I'm not claiming that they are correct.

And there are other people who claim that whites are the true Hebrews. That's a crazier claim, though.
