Yes, it is a pity that people would follow a monster who would torture people for basic individual freedoms.
Jesus clearly. Anyone who would torture people for all eternity for following basic individual freedoms would be a monster worse than a billion Stalins or Hitlers.
You must be a defender of evil according to your condescending remarks toward "Believers of the Way". There is no Grace or Mercy without justice so apparently you just can't stand it....let alone "understand it". Get a heart and learn a little true wisdom. It's for your own good. Look to heaven and you won't care about hell.
Torturing a person for all eternity for temporal sins, especially when those sins represent basic human liberties, is the true evil. You worship a monster that makes Hitler look like a saint.
Jesus sends a christian or a buddist to hell for eternity if they exercise freedom of speech? What are you talking about??
For instance, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Speaking words results in Jesus having you tortured for eternity.
The Bible. We are assuming it is true for the purposes of this thread, yes? If not, then where is your proof this supposed Jesus person existed?
show where in the Bible or admit you are goofing: Christian beliefs about the afterlife vary between denominations and individual Christians, but the vast majority of Christians believe in some kind of heaven, in which the deceased enjoy the presence of God and loved ones for eternity. Views differ as to what is required to get to heaven, and conceptions of heaven differ as well. A slightly smaller majority of Christians believe in hell, a place of suffering where unbelievers or sinners are punished. Views differ as to whether hell is eternal and whether its punishment is spiritual or physical. Some Christians reject the notion altogether. Catholic Christians also believe in purgatory, a temporary place of punishment for Christians who have died with unconfessed sins.
I don't recall saying the bible is true?? OP was about Jesus being first Republican. You must think before you post
And what kind of Christian are you? If you are the kind that believes in hell, then you can’t also claim Jesus supports individual feeedom.
Alright, so the Bible isn’t true for the purposes of this thread. In that case, here’s my response to the OP: where is your evidence for the existence of this supposed “Jesus”?
I didn't say I believed in hell just that Jesus was first Republican. Do you know what the subject is here??
Buddha advocated individual freedom and he predated Jesus by nearly 400 years. Diogenes did the same and he predates Jesus by 250. Clearly Jesus can’t be the first Republican.
our subject is not whether he existed on some spiritual literal or fictional level but rather whether the teachings that come to us from history through a character named Jesus are Republican. Now do you understand?
