This really pi$$es me off. If the House Republicans don't like it, then pass their own version and go to reconciliation. Just killing it because Trump doesn't like it is a chicken $hit thing to do.

 

And that needs to be fixed. A) keep them from crossing illegally by whatever means works and B) change the law so that if they are caught crossing anywhere other than a port of entry, they get immediately deported to the farthest place within the country that they crossed from. That may not be fun if you get deported to Mexico/Guatemala but definitely not fun if you get deported to Canada.

 

Maybe Trump can, we'll find out.

I've heard this excuse for open borders before and it doesn't make sense Due to automation and AI, we're likely to need fewer people in the future, not more.
