Biden says jobs that pay $45 or $50 an hour - not $7 or $12 - are part of his climate-infrastructure

The post I responded to initially mentioned minimum wage, $40-$50 rather than $15. Wind turbines require a hell of a climb not to mention ducking them fan blades.

I saw the op mention that but I didn't see it in Biden's statement. I assumed it was the op misunderstanding and did not want to make an issue of it. If Biden is talking about minimum wage he would be crazy. If he is talking about creating good jobs all the more power to him.

True that. Instead, he promised to repeal and replace Obamacare (failed), build a wall and make Mexico pay for it (failed), bring jobs home from China (failed), release his tax returns (refuses to this day), and so on.

Go to the primary sources. There are tons and tons of scientific journal articles talking about it and the many related subjects. The evidence is absolutely overwhelming. The ones that deny it are the ones that don't bother reading about it. They just hear someone on TV say "its nonsense!" and their mind is made up.

I'm not an expert in the field, but the answers are all there if you want to look it up. It's not classified research, lol.

Don't you want to return to the glorious 1950s when people had a high standard of living from 40 hours a week of menial labor? I thought that's what MAGA promised.

Anyway, it's a politician making big promises. Of course it has to be taken with salt. Just not with the kind of salt I'm seeing in this thread ;)

I already did. I have went to logic, science, and mathematics. They tell me that Global Warming is a wacky religion that denies them.

"Scientific journal articles" are not science. The Laws of Thermodynamics speak for themselves. The Stefan Boltzmann Law speaks for itself. Planck's Law and the Ideal Gas Law speak for themselves. --- Global Warming is nothing more than a wacky religion that denies these laws of science.

Science does not make use of supporting evidence. That is what RELIGIONS do, such as the Global Warming one that you are peddling here...

Science, rather, makes use of conflicting evidence. You need a falsifiable theory, and the theory that "the Earth is increasing in temperature" cannot be falsified (we have no way of accurately measuring Earth's temperature), so it remains a religious belief. (a religious belief that denies logic, science, and mathematics, thus a WACKY religious belief)

The ones that practice the AGW religion are the ones that don't bother learning the relevant laws of science which expose the wacky AGW religion for the BS that it is.

I don't outsource my thinking to others. I do my own thinking.

    I can tell.

Nope, my questions asked in this thread have NOT been answered. Would YOU care to address them?

He said the jobs were related to climate and infrastructure, so it probably is what it sounds like (green energy & infrastructure projects, many of which pay well).

So Biden wants upper middle class to be poverty now?

You can't increase wealth by ordering people to pay more it just devalues the dollar you have to increase the value of person produces.

For example you pay an employee what their labor is worth. If it's mandated that their labor is worth $50 an hour it will just mean $50 is the equivalent to $7.12 now. Because the value didn't increase. It's just decreasing the dollar or as I like to put it stealing from people who save.

It doesn't sound like anyone is ordered to pay anything. Some tech jobs just happen to pay better than other jobs.

From the article: "The president's Build Back Better proposal includes jobs that pay "$45 or $50 an hour,"

He didn't fail. You can't fail something you never attempt to do.

The lamest part is he did nothing useful while he had the seat, but he is constantly commenting on Biden's failures to keep his supporters upset and it's all by design. He wants to continue mind-<bleeping> them that he is "THE ONLY ONE" that can fix and give them their country back.

If he was so effective, goal oriented and full of accomplishments, I'd get it. He's not. He overpromises, under-delivers or NEVER delivers, blames somebody else and pretends he is the one being shafted. He's got his con down strong.

Ummmmm... what? Literally everything in science is published in peer reviewed articles in scientific journals. You know, those papers containing abstracts, the introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion? Where do you get your scientific information from??

Didn't say anyone was ordered to pay anything.

So I have no idea what you're talking about or how it relates to the subject or my post at all in the slightest.

    Lets read your post together.

So, yea, you did talk about orders and mandates to pay. How could you forget what you said in only a few minutes after typing it?

You're response had nothing to do with what I posted I don't think it had anything to even do with the subject.

I still wont be able to afford my own luxury yacht and sail it around the world all year long. $50/hr still = inequality.

    Why stop at $50?

Perhaps he's talking about creating high skilled jobs for people within industries that currently offer $45-$50 per hour?
