I don't watch television or the news. Do you need to get any other opinions off your chest this evening?

LOL. My response had everything to do with what you said, and now you are doing your chicken dance to distract from it. You need to learn to own your words.

    Indeed.

He’s not talking about minimum wage, he is talking about actually creating high paying skilled jobs.

That would make sense. Can't believe you're the only one to think of it.

Your response had nothing to do with what I said I don't think you're even aware of what the subject is.

People can read for themselves since you have such a hard time admitting what you say.

You misunderstood, because no one is suggesting people would be ordered to be pay $45-50, its just that some of the jobs they are talking about would pay that much, - and probably much more.

45 for heavy equipment is pretty normal around here.

Sure, and there is a need for all kinds of tech jobs, which pay very well too. I dont know what people find so offensive about this other than some people mistakingly thinking there was going to be some kind of mandate to pay people $45.

That is the only thing I find offensive -- that it was distorted to suggest that it was in reference to the minimum wage when Biden never even mentioned it in that context. There is room for interpretation, I suppose, but it sounds like what you've suggested -- that Biden is talking about high-paying jobs being created by this initiative.

How many votes did it take to put Biden and crew in office? How many of those voters think they will get one of those high paying jobs? How many actually will?

I would expect all high paying jobs will be filled, and I doubt anyone without the required skills expect to get a $50 per hour job. Why would they, when there is no such promise? The only people who read that as some kind of promise are the ones like some on this thread who make a hobby out of misrepresenting everything or simply cannot comprehend what they read. The article flat out says that the plan includes jobs that pay $45-$50. How "includes" translates to a mandate or a promise that everyone gets such job is beyond me.

I think in the nature of campaign promises they don't mind misleading a few hopefuls till after the election. And there will be hopefuls that haven't a snowballs chance. It's just more rich people getting richer and living their privileged lives is how it will go.

Half is political (hatred, in MAGAspeak), the other half is a distorted view of how a free economy works.

that's it, no way republicans will support it then, good jobs for the working class? not a chance, they will fight it ever step of the way

That does not define "climate change".

I typed in plain English. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand...

... but that doesn't make peer review 'science'. That doesn't make "articles" in "scientific journals" 'science'. Science is a set of falsifiable theories. That's ALL science is. The Laws of Thermodynamics are a part of science. The Stefan Boltzmann Law is a part of science. etc. etc...

From the theories of science themselves, such as the Laws of Thermodynamics and the Stefan Boltzmann Law.

No, it is expressing appreciation for a guy who represented them in the White House.

Science is a process. It’s not just a handful of laws. You are not making sense.

You can define it any way you want, - this is about the projects and jobs he is referring to, some of which would be well paying tech jobs.

    It is not a process.

Yes, it is. It is a handful of falsifiable theories (formulated into laws via mathematics).

    YOU are not making sense.

The scientific method is indeed a process.

A scientific law is a mathematical representation of what theories explain, and of what we observe in the universe. Laws and theories are used to make predictions and test those predictions.

Using laws of motion, we can predict what happens to a bullet when fired from a gun. Using these predictions, we solve crimes, with theories.

Using a host of sciences and physical laws, we formulated the theory of evolution, which is also a fact. The fact of evolution is that organisms change over time. The theory explains the mechanism by which this occurs, primarily natural selection. Laws tell us what will happen; theories tell us how it happens. Newton tells us the speed at which an apple will fall. Einstein tells us how and why the apple falls.

Science is most certainly not "...a handful of falsifiable theories (formulated into laws via mathematics)."

    These people make sense.
