That helps, but for certain industries, we can't compete with cheap labor. That's the main driver in offshore manufacturing.

Agreed, there are industries where the price of labor is the driving factor. Another factor is the location of the target market. It used to be America’s market and economy dwarfed ever other area. Now our multi-national corporations have a big percentage of their target market in China, Europe, Japan. They need to have some, maybe even most, of their production in those countries. We just have to be far more competitive than we used to be to keep our jobs here.

Rest of the workers become dependent on welfare systems for survival from a government they can no longer question but simply vote in.

And that's how you retain control.

Yes .. that is a serious issue - when the collectivists get enough on the tit .. say 20% - in an election where 50% turn out .. but all Gov't workers turn out .. you have 40% before the race starts.

Perhaps a sensible tax structure like the rest of the world where the jobs will be sent?

"our industry?" what is America's industry? We kind of have several and yes a good chunk of manufacturing or labor driven industries get ported to those countries. Am I being trolled here?

We get the products from a different source but profits and the taxes associated with the industry go to the home country. I consider offshoring to be the industry moving as we have had some do, changing their home country to avoid high taxes.

No, I don't think I'm a troll, opinions may differ though.

don't matter how much of a tax cut you give the working class, their wages still can't compare to 3rd world wages

if their wages are $10 a day, how does an American compete?

We compete by saving the world - by stopping industrialization - not getting oil and manufactured goods from 3rd world nations.. the reverse of the Biden Plan.

the government needs to make it cost more to do those things, then hiring Americans. Make hiring Americans the cheaper route to go

What part of - Stop buying products from non industrialized regions are you not getting ? = make it cost more to do things - while saving the planet at the same time.

This is the reverse of the Biden Plan - welcome off the Blue Train.

yep, that would work as well as getting rid of all traffic laws and telling people to just drive responsibly

Traffic laws have nothing to with this issue that you are having such trouble understanding that you have to throw out mindless gibberish.

You said: the government needs to make it cost more

If we are not allowed to buy cheap products from third world nations - we will have to get those products from other places which will cost more. Palm oil being one example .. banned in the EU.

    it's an analogy

not having speed limits for the corps when it comes to excessive foreign outsourcing and excessive foreign imports

they will not self police themselves

What part of "We are talking about Gov't Regulation" are you missing here ? Of course they will not police themselves .. which is why we need Gov't to step in.
