Biden says jobs that pay $45 or $50 an hour - not $7 or $12 - are part of his climate-infrastructure

There is no way there will be enough jobs at ANY wage will be created to compensate for the jobs destroyed. This is a fool's mission.

Sure, but science itself is not.

    Yup, you got it.

    Yup, you got it.

Incorrect. Firstly, a fact is not a universal truth nor is it a proof. Secondly, the Theory of Evolution is a religious belief; it is not science. There is no accessible way to falsify the Theory of Evolution (we do not have a time machine to see what actually happened), and science has no theories about past unobserved events.

Evolution itself (completely distinct from the Theory of Evolution) does indeed happen. That I agree with.

The natural selection theory has been falsified because it forms a paradox.

In order for natural selection to occur, one must first have a variety to choose from. However, if natural selection is true, then the tendency is to REDUCE variety, not INCREASE it.

If the Theory of Evolution is true, then it occurs via a different mechanism. It does not occur via natural selection.

    Yup, you got it.

Yes, it is. And you seem to (oddly enough) "understand it without actually understanding it".

    No, they don't.

there is a near infinite variety to choose from. Mutations occur all the time in nature. When conditions in the environment change, if those mutations give the organism an edge over its competitors, then that organism will be able to out compete, or simply survive, better than those without the mutation. It will survive to pass on its genes to the next generation.

this can be seen almost in real time with insects. When an insecticide is used, most of the insects sprayed for will be killed. However, many times there will be mutations in some of the insects that allows them to survive the insecticide. All that will be left to breed will be the resistant insects, so that resistance trait will be passed on. That is why entomologists recommend using insecticide as a last resort, because if used repeatedly local populations will become immune to the insecticide.

anyways, calling evolution a “religion” blew any credibility you had out of the water. It’s kind of like calling the earth flat. Wait, you don’t think it is flat, do you?

I did not call evolution itself a religion. I called the THEORY OF EVOLUTION a religion, and explained why it is a religion. Please be honest about what I say.

The same goes for the theory of evolution. How do you think evolution happens, if not through genetics and natural selection?

No doubt it would be nice to have higher wages .. but, the point is not "Why not make it 1 million per person a year" The point is that this is just another politician spouting platutudes about some glorious future..

The public should know better. - but they fall for it .. Red and Blue ... need to stop that...

This is not about raising the minimum wage.
This is about what wage should be paid in 1 certain sector.

An engineer being paid 40 bucks an hour is not unusual at all.
And the person cleaning the toilet of that engineer is not in that loop of 40 bucks an hour.

So it's obvious there is a joke on somebody, but it aint Biden.

Where in the world did you get the idea that he wants to raise the minimum wage to $50?
Didn't you read the article you posted, or are you intentionally misleading any readers?
Actually, the joke is on you, in the reading comprehension category. I don't want to be mean, but, if you're going to be critical of someone, you at least should be accurate.

I agree. I have no understanding how the U.S. government can throw money at the climate and solve the perceived problem world wide. Unfortunately, the government doesn't either. It just wants more money to spend in order to consolidate more power and control. Government always does this, folks.

One word comes to mind and that word is: Solyndra

You are being polite with the word "drivel." Ever notice how the people attacking the theory of evolution appear to know absolutely nothing about the theory of evolution.

What Biden did not say is that with the reset, one job at a high wage, will replace every hundred jobs at a low wage. As for the rest of the workers - Oh well!

By coincidence, I happened to be studying for my economics class and I read that unions support raising the minimum wage so that businesses hire fewer workers who are skilled (union workers) rather than hire many unskilled laborers.

Huh? These are new projects. No one is being replaced.

And using your math, those "rest of the workers" would be making fifty cents an hour.

I agree, unless it's controlled by the government, any jobs will be outsourced overseas other than the actual installation here

Controlled by the government? And you really think that’s a good idea?

I think unless the government restricts foreign outsourcing, it will happen

how do you recommend we control it, ask greedy corps nicely to hire Americans

that would work as well as getting rid of all traffic laws and asking people to drive responsibly

What jobs are being destroyed, and why won't there be enough new jobs?

The way we keep jobs in America is to make America business friendly, and a large part of that is having a competitive tax rate.
