I think rush makes $30 to $40 Million a year on his Radio Show alone with his 20 million weekly listeners.

 

Palin seems like a complete idiot to me, and she may even be a little of the <ahem> itchy type of lady if you get on her bad side, but you should never ever call a woman a c word, unless you are a Springer guest.

I do not like Rush from what little I have heard from him. I have watched Bill Maher off an on from his "political incorrect" days. He has crossed the line in recent years. With the quote at hand not even close to the worse. I find the fact he used her handicapped child as a joke far worse. Not to mention him and other "comedians" making jokes at her daughters expense. If someone chooses to be put to public ridicule for whatever reason they are fair game. Yet children of people who make that choice are not. It just show the hypocrisy of the democrats. Conservative women, Conservative African Americans, and even gay conservatives constantly endure statements and actions. That if aimed at a democrat would be sexist,racist, and intolerant. One of the many reason that while I wish both parties would be abolished. I can not help to root for the republicans.

 

Just his 20 Million listeners. Apparently the Libs are concerned and the Lib Feminazis.

Well then you will be equally comforted to know when a female in one of your families comes home and has been called a (*)(*)(*)(*) from say a school mate, just relax, they were just joking.

Maher is also a blowhard, and at least in his personal life is a womanizer. He does not seem to let that color his TV shows content to the point Limbaugh just did though.

Whether or not Fluke is a "slut" or not has nothing to do with the cost of birth control. The amount of birth control you take has nothing to do with the amount of sex you have, as Rush suggests.

If you've been following along, and I know it is hard cause more than one conversation is happening all over the thread, but I have not been kind to Mr Maher, but whatever thoughts you or I have about Mr Maher have nothing to do with Rush.

Bill Maher is a smug arrogant blow hard, that too eagerly dismisses thought and people he disagrees with. That said he is paid to be profane that's why he got fired from over the air TV and is now on HBO SPECIFICALLY because he can be as profane as he likes. Still one should not call women C words.

If you wanna cite a comedian of liberal bent I like go for the Louis CK stuff, I like him, and he said horrid things about Palin... but those things he said were absurd to the point of insanity.

 

I admit, I did once. I called this (lady) a c*** right to her face. I was so f***ing angry at her stupidity and her refusal to admit that she was wrong in spite of my having shown her the error of her ways..I was blinded with rage toward her and had exhausted every avenue of trying to reason with her...then it just popped out...that nasty 'c' word. I felt bad immediately and embarrassed. She was visibly shocked...then a look came over her face..one of victory...she had won. She owned me.

Then again he does not have 3 hours every day to fill, so who knows what he'd do if he did, maybe that is why he doesn't, and maybe that is another reason why ITS NOT THE SAME...

 

Personally I don't care!! I don't like the Islamophobe Maher much(though he is less distasteful than Rush, who is among the more disgusting excuses for a human being on the planet), so I have no interest in defending anything he does. However, claiming it is intellectually dishonest for a comedian to say they are comedians, is just idiotic nonsense.

 

He was not calling her out on what you think was a bull(*)(*)(*)(*) testimony. Just because you don't think that birth control costs that much, doesn't mean it doesn't for some people. She never claimed all contraception cost $3000 over three years, she said it could cost up to. There are many different forms of birth control, and between doctors visits and prescriptions, it can indeed add up, especially if you have a medical condition.

She never mentioned condoms or foam, so to try to imply that that is somehow relevant is just dishonest.

 

At last, see the joke! And a buck each condoms.
