You do not have the authority to decide what is a religion and what isn't.

    Nonsense,prove it:-D

Murder, rape, genocide, robbery, polygamy, pedophilia, racism, conspiracy to murder......oh, and lying about having received a "new message from God".[/QUOTE]

Good old conspiracy theory, prove it according to the life that people were having in that century. (I know you can't)

You read a Koran? Don't tell me 'conspiracy' parts online and you consider them as whole Koran:-D

"Authority" has nothing to do with it. It is simply a matter of definition. And I have all the "authority" in the world to decide my opinion on Islam and anything else.

Why not tell you conspiracy parts online ? Because you don't want the truth to be told ? Oh yes, we certainly WILL tell you parts of the Koran (like 4:34, 8:12 and 9:5) That the Koran certainly does have all these things in it, and that;s why Muslim nutballs have been doing all these things for 1400 years , like killing 270 million people, molesting kids, beating wives, killing innocent animals, robbing, raping, enslaving, etc.

Honestly, I don't think Muslims can be trusted. I grew up with one who lived across the street. He would never come out and play with us, or ride bikes with us, or nothing, then when he got older, His father let him work the counter at the curb store they owned a few blocks down. Long sotry short we thought he was "ok" but come to find out his dad would always call the cops on us for coming up to the store. We always wondered why the Police were always at the store and cruising our street but it was never a robbery at that store. we find out later that this guy who we grew up with, was calling the Police on us. luckily the cops never jammed us up for anything. but it goes to show that the guys' parents raised him to look at us with shifty eyes and contempt. from kids to teenagers I put two and two together. They're taught early in life not to trust anybody. so why trust them in return?

The short answer is yes, like I can trust Christians or Hindu's or Atheists.

I decide on whether to trust people by their actions and character, not based upon their race, religion or national origin.

I have known many, many Muslims over the years and have never had any reason to do otherwise.

You make a fool out of yourself. How would you know if 4:34 8:12 and 9:5 is all I know ? Actually, you could know that i know far more than that if you read my OPs and posts in this forum. Look before you leap. I not only have read 5 different translations of the whole Koran back in the year 1960, but I've read many books ad research on Isalmization. If you want to play rough, I'll bite you hard right on your big mouth, by giving you my Islamization Quiz so, like many other Islamapologists, you can demonstrate your ignorance. Just say when.

PS - if the Koran said nothing more than those 3 suras, that would be enough to convict it as a hate book full of hate speech and vile advocacy of wife-beating and genocide. One doesn't need to know any more.

You could trust a Muslim to marry your daughter. I wouldn't. Only a fool would.

I would trust a Muslim to marry my daughter as much (or as little, being a father!) as I would trust anybody else to marry my daughter. I judge a person by their own character, not by the prejudicial opinions of other people, or by sensationalist nonsense based of simple bigotry and fear of anything or anyone that is 'different'.

I have known some Muslims I would trust, and some I would not. I have known some Christians I would trust, and some I would not. I have known some Athiests I would trust, and some I would not. I have known some Jews I would trust, and some I would not. I have known some Wiccans I would trust, and some I would not. Trust and decency aren't exclusive to any religious group, nor are any religious groups lacking in having a huge majority of decent and trustwothy individuals within them.

Religion (and yes, Islam certainly is a religion - to suggest otherwise is just silly nonsense with no basis whatsoever in fact or reality - it is no more or less a religion than Christianity, nor it is any more or less political in both its foundation and its institutions) is not a guide to whether a person is trustworthy or not. There are all kinds of people who follow all kinds of paths of belief in all sorts of ways. Some are decent people, some are not, and every religion has its radical fringe of dangerous lunatics (as does atheism, for that matter!) - they don't represent the overwhelming majority of decent people, though. The same is true of every religious (or other) group of people in the world.

Why would you care who my daughter married?

Luckily my daughter has been raised to judge people based upon their actions and character, and not on bigotry. I expect that any man she chooses to marry will be an honest respectable man, regardless of his race, religion or national origin.

The only fools are those who are far too willing to let the bigotry de jure make their decisions for them.

I was just thinking about this some more.

Two of the finest men I have known were Egyptian Muslims. I spent alot of time with each of them. I wouldn't hesitate to approve if my daughter wanted to marry a man such as either of them.

Of course I feel the same way about many Christian men I know too.

I agree, why should we, as Catholics, target Muslims and label them as terrorists? What about the Christian person in Norway a couple of months ago who killed many people in the name of Christianity. Christians just said he was a sick man and tried to distance themselves from him. Don't people think that this is exactly what Muslims are trying to do? They know that some of their people committed harmful actions but are trying desperately to show that it was only that 1% of Muslims and not the entire Religion. The exact same as what we have done in this case.

You don't get by with the bigotry card in this forum. Show some basis for the idea that a Muslim marrying your daughter will not act in accordance with Sura 4:34 of the Koran, which tells him to beat your daughter, and that this is the word of God. If you think you have a way to do that, let's hear it.
I wonder if you can also show that he won't be a pedophile like Mohammed (AKA Mo the Pedophile), and won't go out and kill innocent animals on Eid al-Adha. And that he won't hire people to work in his house, and then enslave them. And that he won't kill non-Muslims. Al these these are advocated if not commanded to him by the Koran.

You don't get it. This has nothing to do with bigotry. This is a problem of people being here in the USA whose ideology (masquerading as a religion) orders them to do things (on a regular basis) that are outlawed in America, and are highly immoral.

You seem to equate Christianity with Islam as if there were no difference and as if Islam had no negative attributes. You don't seem to have much of a grasp of this. Do you know what these Egyptian Muslim fine men do when they are in the privacy of their homes and there is no one there but them, their wives and kids, and their Koran ? If not, then you don't know them as well as you think you do. Many honor killers have been said to be a "nice friendly guy" before they (with the help of other Muslim family members) acted to kill their daughters or wives.

Not well said at all. US and European counterterrorism officials all find a common thread among captured Islamic terrorists which drives them - the Koran.

FALSE ! It IS Islam that is the source of the terrorism. The Koran IS Islam. Read what it says. It is a book of terrorism. It speaks constantly in violent suras with the violence technology of the 7th century AD when it was written. If it was written in the 21st century it would be speaking about bombs, biological weapons and nuclear weaponry like that which Osama bin Laden purchased in the Sudan. Why should we target Muslims as terrorists ? easy question. Because their ideology (the Koran) is a terrorist ideology, that's why. Read the Koran.

The terrorists did not create the Koran (Islam). The Koran created the terrorists.

This is simply your opinion. I don't agree with it and many other people don't either!! Mabye you should look at the Bible and critic it before you go and critic the sacred book of another Religion! And yes, Islam is a Religion!!

If you have some evidence upon which to base that statement, let's hear it. Otherwise it is poppycock.
