    They probably got lucky because he had to reload or it was just in such close proximity that a mob of people were able to rush the gunman.

    But a gun would have made it easier to stop him from a distance.

    Like it or not, people with guns have certainly stopped plenty of crimes in progress. If they were not effective for such things the police would not carry them.

    How do you know it's not someone with an Anglo-Saxon name that has converted to Islam?

    Do you think only people with Muslim sounding names can be Muslims?

    I'm not saying it is but you can't simply assume it isn't.

    No, criminals cause crimes. That's why crimes happen that don't even involve a gun.

    I'll say it again since evidently I didn't say it loud enough....

    It's an assumption to believe that a white person could not have converted to Islam. I'm not saying the person did I'm only saying that you should not discount any possibility.

    It's also an assumption to think because someone is a grandson of a republican politician that he must hold the same values.

    There are police officers whose children turn out to be career criminals.

    I would ask you to prove your claim but I know you would just quote some biased source such as every town USA or something.

    Why don't we have a motive yet? I have to lean towards the if it was a hate crime we would have known it by now as the MSM loves to try and make it anit-gay, homophobic etc. All we seem to know about the guy is


    DENVER — A year and a half before he was arrested in the Colorado Springs gay nightclub shooting that left five people dead, Anderson Lee Aldrich allegedly threatened his mother with a homemade bomb, forcing neighbors in surrounding homes to evacuate while the bomb squad and crisis negotiators talked him into surrendering.

    Yet despite that scare, there's no public record that prosecutors moved forward with felony kidnapping and menacing charges against Aldrich, or that police or relatives tried to trigger Colorado's "red flag" law that would have allowed authorities to seize the weapons and ammo the man's mother says he had with him....

    Yeah, cause thats gunna stop the murderer.

    If someone has reached the point of “I’m going to murder this guy”, do you honestly think they will stop because he’s in a bar ?

    “Oh ****, he went into a bar, he must know I cant go in there with my gun”……

    The Pulse was a staged event. A friend of mine was present for that one. Numerous amateur videos showed the staged activities.

    So far this one does not look like a staged event.

    except that is bullshit. there is no evidence that waiting periods have any value in stopping premeditated or even heat of the moment crimes.

    It was not staged. The person who did it was radicalized over the internet. Even Gov. DeSantis did his duty when the event happened and did not get all that political.

    I already said that many times, so no disagreement there, seems only a few agree with us though as not seeing many say they also want that

    many think lists work and taking away right work when the real answer is sentence them longer, keep them off the streets

    Well, they can always stumble out to their gigantic pickup trucks and fetch their guns, but that does at least give them a minute to cool down, or someone to talk them down.

    Banning such weapons has nothing to do with a murderer obeying the laws. It’s about people that sell the weapons obeying the laws.
