Wasn't there an epedemic of face slashing at one time on NYC subways or perhaps there is one still?

    This sort of thing.

Where was/is the liberal outrage concerning these random attacks?

The question now is will Bragg be investigated by the Trump DOJ for his racist perversion of the justice system?

Though I would be happy if that happened, I really think Trump has more important things to do than take down some 2 bit prosecutor in NYC.

I have trouble accepting the victim instigated the attack by this Marine who came from behind. But, the Jury ultimately must have heavily discounted that.

get real, the sociopathic nutcase was screaming that someone was going to die while making overtly threatening actions. In most stand your ground states, someone could have capped his sorry ass and never be charged.

according to several sources: Officers told CBS News that Neely had more than 40 prior arrests and had an active warrant out for his arrest on a felony assault charge.

Don't be too sure. In Florida lot of people have lost SYG cases when they could not prove their lives were in mortal danger. It all depends, but you'd be on thin ice shooting an unarmed person no matter what he is screaming. A verbal attack doesn't qualify for use of deadly force. Besides, the Marine wasn't actually trying to kill the guy, but rather hold him down. If he had shot him, he probably would be going to prison.

As for people glorifying the violence which took a man's life......rewarding him for the kill.... I'm sorry, but that's just absurd

He was hardly harmless. Perhaps in the liberal world threatening to kill people is viewed as creatvie expression. Guess you missed the fact that among his many crimes this guy once punched an elderly woman breaking her nose and orbital bone. But thanks for an honest answer. You would have of course done nothing. An attitude discussed from an academic standpoint in the link below. Given a choice, I would rather live in a society comprised of people like the marine you disparage as a hired killer rather than people who in your words "mind their own business."

Nowhere will you find me saying he was a 'hired killer.'

Before I attack people from behind, I will want to have more than mere verbal threats before I get antsy.

Do you think it is appropriate that people react physically as soon as they are verbally threatened with harm? Would you physically attack anyone who referred to you as 'death,' said you must be 'stopped cold,' threatened you with 'years of hatred, chaos and turmoil,' who published a photograph of themself standing menacingly behind you holding baseball bat aimed at your head, had described you as 'an animal,' a 'degenerate psychopath,' 'human scum, a 'thug,' and said that you and your family are 'fair game' and how much would it matter if that person had a history of assault against women?

wrong-he's been lauded NOT for KILLING (which is doubtful anyway) but for defending innocents even though it might have caused him physical or legal harm.

what is even more absurd is people who are bashing Penny are often the same woke losers who are trying to justify Mangione shooting an innocent guy in the back

Where, in this post of mine, the one you replied to, is there any second guessing by me?

Penny is a hero. a worthless whack job died because he acted like a whack job and was on drugs.
Sorry, not losing any sleep over that. If my wife was on a subway, and some nut job was having a meltdown, I'd pray Penny was there too

How about if she had just had her drink spiked and as a result was acting like looney, verbally threatening people. Happy for a big tall strapping Marine to come up from behind her and put her down?

Sure and that is, a skilled fit young person trained to kill attacked a mouthy bloke from behind in a subway train and brought him down. A Jury found he had not acted unlawfully. That's known reality

Another question. Do you accept the Jury's verdict?

I don't think it ever should have been brought to trial. It was spurred by a racist DA catering to racist blacks

what exactly do you know about the marines. I have a black belt in TKD and a bunch of other skills-I suspect I have had far more hand to hand combat training than a marine. You keep calling him a trained killer which is bullshit as is your pathetic attempt to pretend that the dead mope-who had an open warrant for a violent assault, was merely a "mouthy bloke".

Do you also idolize the cowardly POS who shot a guy in the back?
