yeah they should have acquitted five minutes after they got the charge. Anyone who wanted to convict is a nutcase IMHO

Okay, so you do accept their verdict. The verdict of a New York jury, and I have a recollection of you having a history of posting that a New York jury would never be able to act in a conservative manner. A New York jury which finds against Humpty* is corrupt because the pool is corrupted, a New York jury (selected from the same pool as the jury in the Humpty* matters) which acquits a Marine, trained in killing, of any wrongdoing in the death of a mouthy moron is not corrupt.

    Oops!

Enjoy the corner into which you have painted yourself.

And yes, for the record, I accept the jury's verdicts in both cases. My sole beef with the Penny matter is this hysterical call that he get a medal for being a 'hero.' A fit, strapping, young, trained killer attacking and putting down a mouthy drug fucked moron from behind is not the stuff of which heroes are made. It is the stuff on which stupid urban myths and legends are basely built. That's 'reality.'

bullshit. find where I said that. what is your actual argument? that you are mad that a black sociopathic nutcase died? or you don't like the fact that a white guy prevailed? or is it that you hate anything associated with Trump and you pretend this has something to do with Trump?
and let's stop with the idiotic trained "killer" nonsense. that is sensationalistic appeals to stupid people. It is worthless. do you feel that way about military people in general?

Let's start with 'sham conviction.' So, that is you saying the conviction of Humpty* by a New York jury is a sham, and that's just the first one I found on a search. My recollection generally is pretty solid, and I doubt yours at 11.52 pm in Ohio is anywhere near as solid.

    Let's look at what's in today's news:

White man chokes maniac trying to protect subway passengers = the left cries racism and wants vigilantes

White man gets shot in the back because Obamacare failed his maniac murderer = the left adores the murderer and calls him a hero.

    Prediction:

In parts of this country there stands a decent chance both maniacs get statues of them put up by the left.

it's fun watching woke whankers lionizing some whack job who came from uber-privilege-went to an exclusive prep school and to the Ivy league and his family owned or started TWO COUNTRY CLUBS and they make him sound like he's another Robin Hood. What he is is a twisted evil POS who ought to spend the rest of his life staring at a cinderblock wall in a 6x8 cell eating bad food and being a pass around

The maniac will get bombarded with love letters from women with purple hair and nose rings, when in reality, I hope, he becomes Jamal's overused blowup doll.

I said the glorification of the violence, and the celebration of the death of "worthless whack job" is pretty weird, and it says nothing about Penny or his actions of the assassin, or his actions, it only speaks about those who glorify the killing.

True. The Marine killed the guy accidentally, which means he only knew the basics, - he knew how to grab the hold, but not how to regulate it.

There Is no regulation amount that can save someone with bad health.

You mean he just dropped dead due to bad health? Is so, why are we rewarding the Marine with a medal?

Ok, so Penny killed a cripple and deserves a medal for it. That's really not it.

As I said before, Penny didn't mean to kill him, but caused the death anyway. The other guys health has nothing to do with it. The jury found him not guilty, so it is what it is. His actions were not considered reckless or done in an unjustified manner, and therefore the "criminally negligent homicide" charge did not apply.

Thats not at all the rational conclusion lmao. You just came up with random nonsense.

The bad guys health had everything to do with dying from a non lethal choke.

If calling a choke which caused death a "non-lethal choke" makes you happy, then so be it, but that was NOT why he was found not guilty.

He was found guilty because he didnt kill that man. His own bad health problems killed himself.

The choke is non lethal, its used in combat sports regularly.

New York City should be sued for it's disregard for the citizens and allowing violent felons to walk the streets and attack people. Leadership in that city needs to change.

my favorite was some very obviously gay guy who said it couldn't have been Mangione because he lived in the area (of the murder) and he would have sensed if someone as "HOT" as Mangione was in the area

He was acquitted because he acted in a reasonable manner under the circumstances.

My words were "His actions were not considered reckless or done in an unjustified manner, and therefore the "criminally negligent homicide" charge did not apply", so it sounds more or less the same.
