In the US, gun control is seen by the pro-gun as an agenda of 'death by many cuts' for gun rights. As a show of good faith that this is not the intent, I think it would help for those proposing new laws to give up some of the old ones in a legitimate compromise. Do you have a compromise to suggest, or should the anti-gun crowd get all the gain while the pro-gun only lose rights?

At least prevention of road crashes is being tackled by technology like driverless cars, pedestrian/animal recognition, safety features. Gun loving stubborness has zero technology to prevent guts splattered everywhere

Look I can see where the gun culture came from. I am of the view that complete banning of guns (in the USA) is impractical and would divide the nation further. It is reasonable to ban semi auto rifles and limit handgun rounds to 6 for self protection. Laws can be introduced to provide jail terms as mandatory for exceeding this level including machine guns etc. No exceptions. The NRA should compromise a little.

funny i only foam as the mouth is when i drink the top of a beer mug i have say 5 9mms 1 45 cal pistol 2 40cal 1 22 rifle a sks and a ak47 i am not obsessed with them either they dont talk to me and i dont answer back i take them to the range some times for a date and rub their belly magazines some and warm up their barrels and point them at targets most of the time and make holes in them

You mean to be affected by emotions of those who have lost family? Our founders put gun rights into our constitution, for they understood humanity and history all too well. Losing a democracy, a republic when the citizens cannot defend it from evil, power driven rulers is more important for any people, than getting a false sense of security from confiscating guns. For guns will still be present, owned by criminals, and used by the evil ruling elites to keep themselves in power. The reform needs to be with the people who are the murderers. Not the 99 percent who own guns responsibly and obey the laws.

well its like this if the bad guys start caring rocket launchers to rob my home, then i have to match that firepower , so far the bad guys only caring rifles and pistols, i want to survive and protect my family, if your the suicidal type then go for it.
