Well my friend, I hope it's not too impolite, but you are heavily indoctrinated. Your "they only sell what you buy", "two people spending on person's money", and your turning of RtWingaFraud's statement against him to fake his loss and your gain... Those are not original thoughts. Those are not statements respecting truth or reality. Those are selfish tactics you collected to foment a win for yourself irregardless of the reality of the situation.

If you can dissect RtWngaFraud's statement, you need to see that his counter argument was that "they only sell what you buy" is a failed system. People buy drugs... They buy things that excite taste... They buy bad food... Junk food, etc. Your policies are flawed, my friend. YOU said "they only sell what you buy".

You need to rethink reality and not rely on tidbits of right-wing rhetoric and propaganda.

Thanx for your opinion. However it is only an opinion and one I consider misguided and wrong. And I have discarded it as useless and liberal propaganda.

You have posted the epitome of the sissiness of the left. Accept no blame for your own actions. Always find someone, anyone else to blame for your own failings. No is no possible way for your to accept the absolute FACT that they only sell what you buy, because to do so, lays all the blame on you. Where it belongs.

Drug dealers don't sell me drugs. Food stores don't sell me processed foods. McD's doesn't sell me burgers, or anything else. They try, but I have a choice, as you do. I make the right choice, you evidently do not and must find someone to blame for your mistakes. Man up, just once.

Yes. You are wise, or well educated, or you had proper guidance, or you are lucky.

None of that should justify legalization of drugs. Or American food.

Nowhere do you find me saying anything about legalizing drugs and America has more good healthy food than any other country. And our free choice allows the stupid to choose our worst possible foods. But it is the choice of the stupid, not the fault of corporations. Each of us IS responsible for our own mistakes.

This is the same tired argument rehashed, and I truly do believe this comes down to education and intelligence to understanding the argument.

I do choose to make good decisions on what I eat, and what I buy.

This does nothing to change the statistical fact that a certain amount of people won't choose to do this.

Now comes the push. You can't convince people that if you can't pay for HC services that you should die, but don't want to address the cost(that we all have to pay for) of those statistical facts that will choose to do the wrong thing, or who don't know any better.

I'm not wishing it on you at all friend. I'm saying YOU are setting yourself up for cancer eating and drinking that garbage. A government resource for arguing that aspartame is safe? REALLY? You know Rumsfeld was one of the key players (that pocketed a whole sheetload of money) that pushed for aspartame to be "accepted" by the FDA? That should set of red flags on its own but, humor me for a second. Ask your doctor about aspartame. Ask them if it's completely safe. Then get back to me. Chances are they will choose NOT to say one way or the other. They'll "pretend" they aren't really sure. Try it.

Mercury is EXTREMELY lethal, even in very small quantities. You trust big pharma or any other corporate fat cat to let them tell YOU how much is safe? I don't. By your logic, we should all be able to do a "little bit" of crack cocaine everyday too. Same should go for heroin then, and and arsenic, battery acid, or crushed glass. They all have to be safe, so long as you just "take a little" (to be determined by someone else that uses toxins in their production process to profit from....yeah...that makes sense).

Your attitude reminds me of a time when I used to calibrate weighing scales in retail outlets, and subsequently had the state (weights and measures) come behind me to seal the scale after they verified its accuracy. They would occasionally fail one. I'm have to meet them onsite and recalibrate it. They'd put foam trays under what they weights they used to check it, and if it were off by one thousandth of a pound, they'd fail it. I made the mistake of telling him that the tray "doesn't weight anything" and he is being ridiculous. Wrong move. He then took a big stack of foam trays and placed them on the scale...point being to emphasize they DO weigh "something". Same with you here. Mercury, fluoride, Teflon or whatever OTHER toxins, (and YES...fluoride IS a toxin) we're talking about, it's CUMULATIVE effects are difficult (at best) to measure. Little bit here....little bit there...it's all cool with you though I suppose. Hence..my "pre-cancer" comment. Now...I'm supposed to not even question GMO's...not even allowed to know what it is I'm ingesting outright. But you're cool with it so, I say, enjoy your toxins. Just "trust" corporate fat cats. They always have YOUR best interest at heart, don't they?

Ceo's "WORK"??? What a crock. That aside for now..

Far as buying crack or ingesting it, how would you know nowadays? You're "not allowed" to know the ingredients, by example of your own GMO advocacy. Not "allowed' to label it as to what it actually IS (in lieu of the corporate profiteer). So....according to you...kids on crack need to be "held accountable" (more so than the crack dealer if I'm understanding your point of view correctly). I call alloting yourself 500 times what an average worker makes "stealing", hence my use of the word. You apparently call it something else. Corporate raiders "steal" all the time. It's how they do "business". They just don't have to break into someone's house to do it. They do it with a pen and an laptop (usually). I spit at them from my eventual grave.

Slight problem with your HC services. Most of the nations WITH UHC pay a higher percentage of their household income out of pocket for health care than people of the USA do. In some cases as high as more than twice as much.

Government health care, private health care, good food, bad food. EVERYTHING costs money. The deeper the government involvement, the more money everything costs.

This is quite clear throughout history. And is consistent throughout history. I have asked, more than 2 dozen times for any liberal to name ONE govt program that intruded into the private sector that turned out, more efficient and/OR less expensive than the private sector. You not only CANNOT name one, you cannot name a single government program EVER that operates efficiently within the purview of government interests. Government has always been and will always be, a necessary burden, NOT a benefit..

And I find this HILARIOUS,,,,,YOUR signature line:

"The people cannot be all, & always, well informed. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure."

    states and approves, MY POSITION.

IF the people are not well informed, it is the fault of the people. No one seeks me out to inform me, rather I seek factual information.

What is that supposed to mean, "Medicare?" Is that your govt program that works better than the private sector? A joke, not even a slightly intelligent joke.

Medicare has no doctors, no clinics, no hospitals. It rides ON the private sector or it would not exist. No expense for building and maintenance, no expense for doctors staff or equipment. No phone expense, no utility expense, no employee insurance expense. No employee unemployment insurance expense, No employee workman's compensation expense, not even an employee payroll expense. And Medicare has strict price controls of its reimbursements that the private sector does not have. So with ALL this savings and controlling prices, how is it that Medicare costs 33% MORE per patient than the private sector expends? Overall we spend $8000 per patient, and that INCLUDES Medicare patients. Consider Medicare patients ONLY and that expense jumps to $11,000 per patient. If Medicare did not reimburse at approx HALF the private rate, and get FREE use of private medical facilities and equipment, their cost per patient would surely exceed $25,000 to $35,000 per patient. And do not try the lame ass excuse that Medicare treats the old. That is covered in their reimbursement rates that are so low that many doctor's and hospitals are now refusing any new Medicare patients.

    FAIL, try again.

IF the govt COULD provide health care that is better and less expensive, then I have no philosophical position against them doing so. But they cannot. You want an insight into govt health care? Visit your local DMV.

Or look at Amtrak. They were losing so many thousands of dollars per rider. They took steps to cut their losses. And they DID cut their losses. What efficiency procedures did they install? None. They cut their ridership to cut their losses. Now they lose MORE per rider, but with fewer riders, they lose less. BRILLIANT!

    WTF are you talking about?

That is because Medicare is basically an insurance provider, and they don't usually employ doctors.

Medicare's operating cost's per patient are much lower then insurance companies. Want proof?

BTW, you want to talk about the price pf procedures, and what is being paid, when a ER visit costs 20,000$ and a band-aid costs 200$?

Talking about what % is being paid when there is no price integrity in our HC system is laughable.

If you want to know what is really wrong with Obamacare, it is that it made participation in a system compulsory, that has no price integrity!

INDEED, try to post proof. Since I have been involved with Medicare for more than 20 years and know they are in fact much more expensive than private care, Knock yourself out.

Silly boy, you are talking about PREMIUMS, not COSTS. Get on the right page.

2010, 48 million people covered by Medicare, @ a cost of $532 BILLION. That is $11,083.COST each. Exactly as I stated above. The PREMIUMS for Medicare insurance are politically manipulated and as such are unrealistic. Private insurers must make a profit, not manipulate voters with artificial premiums. But the ISSUE is COSTS. And Medicare COSTS $11,000 per patient and the private sector, insured or not, COSTS less than $8000. per patient.

Let's get on the right page indeed. The only reason we're hearing all this pissing and moaning with Obamacare is because fat cat profits will be less excessive. That's the bottom line. The gravy train is slowing for the super wealthy and they don't like it. Plain and simple.

Ah the repitition of the lie. You have plenty of choices, but you choose to be rueful of anything at all. Go plant a garden. If you would like links to legacy seed banks I will be glad to send you some. Otherwise you are barking up a tree of sour grape vines.
Here's a hint. Go ask some of those Amish Farmers you haughty liberals are so quick to put down.

Hey...you figured out all by yourself those chemicals I made up mself?? Wow.. you ARE an enlightened soul, aren't you?

We aren't supposed to ingest mercury, my defensive friend.

    - - - Updated - - -

Planting a garden is a great idea! Do they still sell non gmo'd seeds or do we have to take the Monsanto creation? Amish probably do have their own seed inventory.....good for them. I'm surprised that Monsanto hasn't tried to shut them down though. That's what they do with regular farmers who don't "play ball" and take their gmo'd seeds.
