So what makes the voters decision more important than the pregnant woman's?

 

I guess you could call me one of those virulent “pro-choice people” because I, unlike many, have actually looked at what happens in places like Canada where there are zero restrictions on abortion.
This isn’t just Canada and you can see though only 1.3% of abortions happen after that after 21 weeks

The further along the pregnancy is the rarer the abortions are. Research on late term terminations (correct medical terminology) is rare but what is known is that the number one reason for abortions pos5 viability is foetal abnormality incompatible with life. I know though that Kermit Gosnell performed illegal late term abortions, and by one account that was on an unwilling child dragged in by a relative but Gosnell operated outside of oversight and the law. It is one of the best arguments for keeping abortion legal. When it is legal we can use the medical system to keep things ethical.

Most do not realise that not every pregnancy results in a perfect Gerber baby and some, whose little lives are destined to be short and painful, are better…….. But it is up to the parents. Some parents will continue on with the birth so they can love the wee one for the time they are allowed, some will want that ease of passing that is a late term termination

What I don't understand is these people singing joy over new abortion laws that limit abortions to the first 10 weeks. Why? Even if the abortion occurs after 10 minutes it's still 10 minutes after life began by their definition. Hypocrisy?

That is a reference to the death of an embryo and it does not consider the miscarriage of the child as a life for if it did "a life for a life" would apply.

In this the only reference to an abortion in the Bible, the man forces it upon the women, it is not her choice, not really a good example to live by.
I go along with the concept of being able to take a breath and live. All the rest are just men wanting to force their will on women and women full of hatred and guilt.

I should also note that the only actual start to life was God breathing life into Adam giving him his first breath of life.

 

I am all for women's rights. I'm also for the rights of the unborn.

 

What rights? The "right" to use another's body to sustain their life? NO ONE else has that "right".

 

Would you make an exception in the case of rape?

 

Paving the way for national healthcare, so the woman and child can live a fulfilling life,and get all the mental help, and transitional services they will need for the rest of their lives.

 

Every man woman and child should have equal access to EARNING their own medical care... wait... they already do!

I don't think anyone can legitimately claim they're for women's rights and favor anti-abortion legislation like Republicans passed in Texas.

 

Not with all the health issues unwanted children as typically born with. Drug addiction, lack of a family network, and all the mental health problems stemming from that.
Feral kids cant earn anything, nor do they have equal access.

Face it, forcing pro choice mandates life long universal healthcare.

 

I'm just for saving the lives of the helpless unborn kids... nothing at all against women. Sticky subject. That's why the VOTERS in each state deciding what laws to establish is a good solution.

 

"Feral kids"???? Kids raised by wolves? I guess we can make special arrangements for them. I could go for that.
Folks with special medical problems deserve special help.

I'm with the Supreme Court. Leave it to the VOTERS in each state. My own opinion is that there is no "one size fits all" to this situation. There are millions of voices on the two opposing sides of the issue... and many in between, by the way.
