I would care if there were anything of truth behind the document... and Comer has a near ZERO chance of making that case...

What, rather, is your proof? You are on the side, intimating that there is some government cover up. The FBI did investigate allegations against Biden, and found nothing prosecutable. It is therefore their policy, to not make public, any information about the particulars of the investigation.

Now, Representative Comer wants to come look over the FBI's shoulder, to appraise their work. And Director Wray says "fine, come in & do that." But that doesn't serve Rep. Comer's true purpose, which is to muckrake. That is why Wray is not going to release the documents of the investigation, which turned up no criminal behavior: because then Comer would use information from that investigation-- which is supposed to stay private, if there is no indictment-- and selectively, publicly release whatever details would make Biden look bad. If Rep. Comer was interested in oversight, Wray's offer should be perfectly acceptable. But Comer is only interested in partisan political propaganda. The Republican Chairman's trying to make hay over this, is a perfect example of the "weaponization of government."

 

Clearly that is not the fbi policy, it’s the fbi policy when dealing with Dems alone. Weaponizing the govt is a leftist thing.

The FBI has acknowledged they have a document in their possession but they have refused to turn it over to the House committee where the public will be able to see it and you say Comer can't be trusted? That sounds like an oxymoron.

 

If there is nothing to the document Comer has asked for then why has Wray refused to turn it over? It's not classified. Comer wants to make the document public while Wray wants to keep it private.
