The government? Politico reported the FBI said they couldn't provide the physical documents because it could jeopardize an on going investigation. Sounds like double talk from the FBI. From Politico:

Republicans have said they want to publicly release the document if the FBI gives it to the committee. The bureau has countered that revealing unverified information could have a potential range of negative consequences – including harming active investigations or informants, as well as affecting prosecutions or court cases.

And the FBI has warned that the forms are used to “record unverified reporting by a confidential human source” and that “documenting the information does not validate it, establish its credibility, or weigh it against other information verified by the FBI.”

Bill Barr Reveals That Jamie Raskin Lied About the Biden Bribery Investigation – RedState

Raskin repeated another falsehood as well during his presser. Specifically, he claimed that the FD-1023 was related to claims made by Rudy Guiliani. That isn’t true per sources who told The Federalist that the Biden bribery allegation is completely unrelated and was not brought by the Donald Trump acolyte.

 

According to Grassley the FBI has paid the informant $200,000. He says the FBI has not disputed the informant’s value.

And claiming Raskin lied is beyond a stretch, its an outright lie. “They called to end the investigation”, so if they didnt end it its on them, not Raskin. BUT, lets all be VERY clear here……Biden has been accused of Bribery, yet in 6 years, it only comes up after his election, and from sources they can’t divulge, and information they cant divulge, but that information is there, and we cant tell you who the informant is…..…..yeah….right ?

It seems like you only have information being shared by extremely liberal sources that aren't giving their readers the complete picture so I'll try to fill you the details not found from those sources.

There was an initial report filed in 2017 with some information. Then in 2020, the informant received more information from his source, and another FD was released to supplement the 2017 file. Wray admits the FBI source is highly credible and has been working with the FBI for over ten years, and is known to have factual information. The source claims he had a direct conversation with the person who paid a $5M bribe to Joe Biden for policy influence when Biden flew to Romania on Air Force 2 to push his agenda. The source claims the person who made the payment described a system of paying the funds to shell companies designed to hide the source and the destination of the funds. With this information, the Oversight Committee subpoenaed bank records and began finding the shell companies and the transfers. They've been following the money. That's why the Oversight Committee first talked about the 20+ Biden shell companies and the deposits from foreign dignitaries that bounced around them repeatedly before finally getting paid out.

And, if you watch the press conference, Raskin was eventually asked by the press about Comer's claim that the investigation was ongoing, and he got embarrassed and backtracked, realizing he was caught in the lie. He went on to say he was mistaken. He didn't say he "might" be wrong, he said he "must" have been.

 

No it can't be our resident left tells us Rudy was the FBI source. Amazing for 10 years he's been an fbi undercover the whole time. Wow, who knew lol. If they only knew how dumb they sound.
