    I have no link.... breaking news... above is basically the screen crawls on MSNBC

    Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

    I thought the jury would at least take until Thursday.

    Guess that was SOME preponderance of evidence.

    Thoughts?

    I saw the jury reached a verdict. I have not seen the verdict or the award.
    But the fact that it took less than a day added to the fact that Trump's lawyer's provided no defense whatsoever all indicates that it was not going to go Trump's way.

    Cool... How long did the jury take here? Can't have been 2 hours... article released at 11:09...

    They didn't even hang around for a final free lunch...

    I guess CNBC had a strong premonition, if they released an article at 11:09

    Jury didn't find he raped her, just sexually assaulted her... She couldn't testify to a certainty he penetrated her, which I find to be the cherry on the top to this story.

    So now we have a twice impeached, criminally indicted, sexual batterer former President. We need a new acronym to replace POTUS for him...

    When he was deposed, you mean....

    The deposition was probably the best he could do, which says a lot...

    He's so used to appealing, he probably would have appealed if he had won....

    When the guest was done talking about the jury verdict, all the news reporter could do was sigh.

    When it's the Donald, that's all we can do.

    They heard the defendant talk.... many of us watched the video (or saw the hilarious outtakes) and I'm guessing the jury saw more than we did...

    That the coward wouldn't show up to do it live speaks volumes...

    This case was based more on emotionalism than any facts. Carroll's team presented no date as to when this happened, just "estimated" to have happened sometime in 1996. As noted in the article, kind of hard to provide an alibi without such. Since it was a civil case the jury could infer a negative for Trump not testifying, or even showing up. They were allowed to use irrelevant information and unproven claims.

    Trump haters will use this as proof, even though its not. At least its not for those that value decisions made on facts, over decisions based on emotions.

    Were you in the courtroom? No.
    Did you listen to the testimony? No
    Were you in the Jury Room during deliberations? No.

    So your claim that this case was "based more on emotionalism than any facts" is a claim based MORE ON EMOTIONALISM THAN ANY FACTS.

    You have no idea what facts the jury used to make it's verdict. Yet here you are telling us that the jury were "allowed to use irrelevant information and unproven claims".

    Tell us, how do you know what you are claiming?
