If it has fewer than 1000 cells, I am not calling it a Holocaust.

There are no "abortion advocates," there are only "abortion rights advocates," those who believe women deserve healthcare and dignity.

You shouldn't mock people who are smarter than you.

The thing I have noticed about "women's rights" supporters is they all too often advocate women's rights at the expense of someone else.
And it's not just on the issue of Abortion.

I don't want to control anyone.

I am the OP of this thread. How can I be unaware of the subject when I started this thread?

The title of my thread refers to an article which you have yet to read.

Do you think that people who are against abortions are also against women obtaining healthcare?
Why do people who approve of abortions think that they are the sole purveyors of women's dignity?

That's ironic considering that "fetal rights" supporters advocate rights for fertilized eggs at the expense of women.

At whose expense do women gain rights? Women have had to overcome...

You are welcome to look upon it that way if you wish.

I think that the 60-80% of fertilized eggs are not intentionally aborted however.

They are against women choosing their own healthcare options.

There is certainly no dignity in forced childbirth.

How do you know God didn't intentionally abort them?

Isn't ironic that republicans brought women the right to vote.

As for the other civil "rights" on your meme, those are not rights. Those are benefits from the taxpayers.

They are against abortions. Why don't you say it that way? The left is so phony they have to wrap
their language is sugar coated euphemisms.

There is no dignity in abortion, only shame and post traumatic stress and depression.

Why do you think you have the right to play God?

Abortion IS healthcare. You don't want women to choose their own healthcare options.

There is dignity in controlling what happens to one's own body. There is no dignity in forced pregnancy and childbirth, in forced ultrasounds, forced lectures, or forced waiting periods. There is no dignity in being treated like a child or being bullied.

    Why do you?

In the same way that what Dr. Kevorkian did was "healthcare".

Healthcare is supposed to be about HEALING.

Not when that involves killing someone else.
If I need an organ transplant, for example, and there is a shortage of suitable donors, one of my "options" is to go find a "private contractor" willing to go out and obtain the organ that I need. Nevermind where that organ comes from.

That is true. But how much dignity is there in getting an abortion ? Killing your fetus for your own selfish ends is really an underhanded act. There's a reason it's inherently shameful and most women don't go around broadcasting "I got an Abortion!"

There is dignity in a woman knowing she made the right choice, the choice to give life to her child.

The woman's not even willing to treat her fetus like a child. Why then should she be treated like a grown up woman?

Abortion is not healthcare. It is termination of a pregnancy and human life. Once again you have to cloak your language in sugar coated euphemisms.

An unplanned pregnancy is a sign of a person who doesn't have any control over "one's own body".
What part of an abortion procedure do you think is dignified?

Is forced abortions any more dignified? Do you think all women get abortions because they want to
of they're own free will? How many are pressured by their families, boyfriends, husbands, teachers
or social workers? Perhaps they are pressured by counselors at the local abortion advocacy group
or a Planned Parenthood "healthcare" facility. Speaking of being treated like a child, how many under-
aged teens do you think are bullied into getting abortions? Probably easier to count the number who
    aren't.

    Who says I am?

Abortion is all about euphemisms. What do you think "women's reproductive rights" actually means?

Exactly. Feminists have been thinking up ways to try to turn abortion into something other than the undignified act it actually is.

Among them, the "I had an Abortion" T-shirt.

This was designed to protect women. In those days, the debtors laws were pretty severe. No one wanted to put a woman on the hook for debts she could not repay. It was not seen as right.
Many men were essentially turned into debt slaves, and struggled to earn enough to survive on while they repaid their debts.

Allow me to mock you then...

You are a liar. I never said I think I know more that the World Health Organization or anyone else.

I merely posted proof that they were an abortion advocacy group when challenged on my statement.

    I merely presented fact.

I don't know if anyone has every been so wrong in arguing a point that is not in contention because
they interrupted in the middle of a conversation without finding out what the conversation was about.

We have TRAP laws that regulate abortion clinics and stipulate they must be performed by licensed physician with hospital access. But they are not healthcare? Pregnancy very much affects a woman's health. To deny it is healthcare is only another dishonest "pro-life" tactic.

An unplanned pregnancy is an accident that can happen to anyone. Dignity is having control of one's own body and medical procedures.

There are no laws for forcing abortion on anyone, and no one who advocates forced abortions.

You advocate banning abortions, right? How do you know that's God's will?

I would venture that if God can cause the flood and kill 99.999999% of the human life on the planet just having an abortion is a feeble attempt to play God.

Margaret Sanger is dead. Also, she was opposed to abortion.
