Let's put it this way: Louis Farrakhan, as nutty as he is in other areas, has correctly identified the problem here: Blacks to a larger degree than other races in the US aren't accepting responsibility for their kids, their women, or their education - and he's trying to do something about it. Tell the men to get an education, get a job, dress for success, marry your woman. Not sure about the bowties, but hey - whatever works. It's good advice for anyone really. Frankly, he's got the right idea, especially since the solution is gonna have to come from a Black himself rather than some well-meaning but misguided liberal nutjob. And even then it's iffy - as has been noted, Cosby said much the same and got crucified in the press for it. But Farrakhan has the boots on the ground for it.

Bottom line though - Blacks - or any race or individual, really - are never going to achieve success as long as they get their fashion sense from Cell Block B. *cough*saggin*cough*

 

They can never admit that any of their programs fail, or even have downsides. Look at how they reacted to the litany of obamacare issues. They dont even care that is the largest middle class tax increase in history. They just dodge and ignore and go back to trlling "racism". If racism is the problem, then a lot of blame goes to them anyway. You wont find a republican in power in any of the places that deliver hopelessness and not much more.

Lefterism is a religion based on state worship. Can you convince fundamentalists Christians that Christ was flawed? Same idea. That is why there can be no meaningful dialogue with the left.

 

They clutch propaganda bullet points to their breasts and remember when -- not so very long ago -- the mainstream media backed them to the very HILT every time they began one of these little hate-based fits of hysteria. So they are . . . nostalgic.

The welfare laws that were designed to redistribute wealth are what caused the lack of morals, as in the 1990's the Republican congress made Clinton sign a compromised bill that took the incentive for fathers to stay in their families. When welfare no longer included men, it created the destruction of the family unit.

The lack of morals are not in the immediate family, but higher up in the congress for taking away taxpayer assistance to oppressed families.

Indeed blacks arent accepting responsbility but theyve also been mistreated to a large degree than other races in the US.

Why cant you accept that and appreciate them instead?

 

It prevents them from having as large and experienced a middle and upper investing class as the whites. Theyre born without the same cultural and material resources by definition. More of them are born into the working class and lower.

Being born into a lower class doesn't have anything to do with it. As I stated earlier my parents were born dirt poor. They made a good life for me and my brother. No one gave them anything. Only you can make a life for you and your family.

No actually it does, while some like your parents, will obviously do well despite their circumstances others will not. Money and other capital assets are not everything but they are a significant factor that makes an impact across the macro scale.

Moreover ask yourself, why were your parents born dirt poor? Does that mean their parents were simply lazy? Or was some other factor at play?

 

My mom was born in 1919 does that answer your question.

 

As I said we went to the same schools and I have never lived in poor district don't now, one of the more upper middle class in the state.

So what, my success was not built on someone else's history, I took advantage of the opportunities out there just as black can and in fact have more as when I noted it was easier for blacks to gain admitence and gain financial access to higher education than it was for my kids.

One does not lead to the other, it is up to the individual. If you drop out of school, have kids before you marry you don't have a lot of chance for success. Both of those are much more prevalent in the black community along with criminality which will also hamper your success in life.
