Black Americans are the most privileged blacks in the world, etc...

They do love their divide and conquer strategy.

For sure. But they could do even better if Democrats didnt run their towns and feed them propaganda and arguments designed to break down the family structure.

Where is racism as big an issue as you claim? What type of racism? Racial violence? The left teaching blacks that all white men are evil has lead them to be disproportionally more likely to commit to commit a hate crime in every state in the union. Racial discrimination under the law? That is the lefts fault, again, that racial discrimination is legal if done right. Lets get specific so we can "understand". How many years have you spent living in a black neighborhood? You are talking to two people who are white and spent real time in poverty. We arent privileged elite whites that view blacks from a distance and throw them crumbs. Will there ever be a time when we can be treated by the law as equals, punish racism when it occurs and is illegal, and talk about anything other then the cultural marxist struggle between the races?

You do realize the bigotry in your own statement. I went to school in the South when schools were desegregated. That is not to say there were no blacks in the school I attended there were and in fact there was no racial strife in the school until the lines were drawn to ignore neighborhoods where we all lived together but to reach some mix quota. Raising my own kids whites and blacks all attended the same schools, everyone had the same opportunity to excel in their education or throw it away. In fact it was easier for blacks to gain access to higher education than my kids. So what are these advantages blacks do not have other than the opportunities they do not take advantage of as some whites fail to do also?

Perhaps if blacks stopping beating on whites and other black both physically and verbally there would be more appreciation.

You want to trade lives with me?

Do you think blacks would trade their own lives to be white? I am pretty sure you are mistaken my friend. I would rather be me with black skin, then you with white skin if that solves your dilemma.

Well if you take a good look at that picture of Mom,Dad, my Sister and that dump of a house, you'll see someone who had the experience of being dirt poor. As poor as any Black family was.

What the hell is the matter with you people? Has the Democrats brain washed you so much you can't think for yourself? Obama, Bill Cosby, Colen Powell and many other Blacks have told you the same damn thing I have said. You don't even believe them? You can't keep having 70% of the Black women having babies without a father and expect to get anything more than what your getting. You can't expect to get a decent job if you quit school and go to jail. None of that is racism. Time to start thinking for yourself.

First, my post was directed to that poster for a specific reason.
Second, I understand how hard life can be growing up poor, you need to understand how hard life can be growing up poor and a second class citizen. Those two things are not mutually inclusive.

LoL, trust me, I'm not the one with a dilemma...

In what part of the south did you grow up?

Come on. We had no welfare back then, no food stamps. The government didn't give us kids jobs over others more qualified. We didn't get a chance to get a higher education. We had none of the advantages Blacks are given today, none.

Did Obama mention racism when he addressed Blacks? Did Colon Powell, or Bill Cosby? None of them mentioned racism. They all talked about the same thing I am saying. The only ones talking about racism for keeping Blacks down is the Democratic Party and Black leaders like Jessie Jackson.

Remember how I said people respected other people's property back then? I talked about not having two and three locks on our doors. Look at that back door. All you see is a slide lock because the door edge was so rotted out the main lock didn't catch to keep the door closed. We had no bike locks or car alarms either. When you have a father and mother raising kids, they teach you not to steal. To respect other people's property. That sure isnn't how it is today.

Marine, trust me when I say this, the argument you are making is not even in the same ball park as to how different it was being poor and being black and poor.

I mean Phil made the link perfectly clear "we're with blacks, because we were white trash".

Did you experience this while growing up poor...

But please, by all means, tell us how it was made right by welfare (enjoyed by both whites and blacks), food stamps (enjoyed by both whites and blacks), and AA (which includes white women). Tell us more about all those "advantages Blacks are given today".

    FFS.

None of those things help the black community and that was the point he tried to make. No one said growing up black in the democrat run south was easy. We are just saying growing up in the democrat run inner cities isn't easy.

    How old are those pictures?

Maybe you wouldn't feel as guilty if you didn't hate black folks so much.

But most of the people today didn't live back then. They didn't face that kind of stuff. Most of the parents weren't even alive 60 years ago, much less their children. The problems started in the mid 60's. After the war on poverty started. That is when fathers started leaving their families and letting the government take care of them That is around the time girls were starting to get pregnant and not being married. Go back to the first page and see how families stuck together before and after the War on Poverty. See when girls kept having babies out of wedlock. The percentages are there. That is happening all over the country now. About 70% of all Black births are to unmarried Black women today. Does that have anything to do with slavery, racism or what was happening down South in the 1950"s? How can you use those things as an excuse? Blacks have more advantages than my family ever had. I lived though it and I know. No one is fooling me on how things were. The big problems of blacks to day is having so many kids grow up in broken families with no direction. That causes people to stay on welfare. That cause all kinds of crime like Blacks have today. When you have a broken home, drop out of school and get thrown in jail, how in hell can you expect kids to make it? How do you expect them to get a job? This is the root of the problem and this is what needs fixing.

That picture was taken around 1948.

Logic is hatred for leftwingers? No wonder they are so very wrong so very, very, often. They really should embrace logic and the concept of being genuinely fair and balanced. I don't know about the body, but it certainly does a spirit good.

I was replying to the poster that replied to you. Asking them how old their pictures were. I am 32, when/where I grew up you could get jumped for being white. I have crooked teeth to prove it. I have never seen the reverse, but I have seen someone get "pumpkin headed" for their skin color and that guy was paler then me. I got my face kicked in trying to stop it before they killed him. He survived, spent some time in the hospital though.

It might be interesting to see you embrace logic, but hateful racism apparently prevents you.

May mercy, grace and justice be considered by ALL, just as you've shown your awareness of it here.
