Look at all the military situations, girly hats, calling Christians terrorists groups, the rules of engagement. Its all from up above and its (*)(*)(*)(*) poor. Just the fact that Obama is in charge and we have a government shutdown, but they are spending $8 Million on hats is horrible.

 

Just by having to ask that question speaks volumes.

It's amazing that so many people get worked up over a "cover". You'd think they'd be more concerned over having enough equipment or strenght in manpower, ect. Whislt I am certain the president has nothing better to worry about than making Marines wear hats that those who may be questioning themselves find feminine, it would appear this is one of those satire stories that gets picked up buy the press without them realizing it is satire. Maybe Obama ordered the new squatty hats so the Marine holding his umbrella wouldn't look so much manlier than him.

 

The original hats look just as 'unisex' - the only difference is a broader brim - tell me what's wrong with it - I think the female marines look much 'cooler' in that hat?

The new hats don't look 'girly' - they look more French or European than anything. If it's being changed simply for political correctness, then that's pretty absurd.

But regardless, the fact that we're $17 trillion dollars in debt and this is what Obama is worried about shows he isn't doing his job
