Well . . . aside from a breathtaking degree of incompetence never before seen behind the desk of the Oval Office it looks like Obama's only successful signature move will be to emasculate the uniformed appearance of one of the traditionally toughest and competent fighting forces on Earth. The story is fake. The president has nothing to do with deciding on Marine uniforms. It has been confirmed as fake by the Marines.

Some of the quotes in the article alluded to being 'issued' these clothing items when there's not enough money for anything else. You purchase your own uniform in the military. Clothing companies bid on the ability to be the official supplier of such clothes, but the purchase is done by the service member, so part of this was quoting people that weren't honest.

 

Sure . . . but notice that not even Obama supporters denied that it was something that Obama would TRY to do if he could. That tells you something about the real Obama that people are finally beginning to know and loathe . . . on the Left.

While it is true the President does not have anything to do with approving uniforms, anyone who has ever served knows senior officers in every service are politicians first and soldiers second. Obama has been in office long enough to have the military staffed with mostly his senior officers who can read the political tea leaves...The serving Marines are just lucky they are not to deploy in tutu's and taffeta aiguillettes....
