If the Hebrews had 600,000 strong men bearing weapons they need not fled Egypt.

And this confirm that the Hebrews had no weapons, no fighting expereince or substantial weapons to defend and win wars against Egypt or the Amalekites who were all well arm and seasoned soldiers.

David and his conquest came decades later after the Jews learn how to fight like mighty warriors not during their captivity in Egypt or when they left Egypt. How come you guys like to jump from one story to the other? Just like how you guys jump from Genesis 6 to the Amalekite wars.

I am sure your's is well behind to elementary and full of assumptions.

You are making assumption that Jesus Christ did not reveal his encounter with Satan to his Apostles. The Apostles were the witnesses the information came from Jesus Christ himself. Jesus encounter with Satan is different from the time the Apostles were asleep while he pray alone at the Garden of Gethsemane. The words that Jesus spoke were later reveal to the Apostles by the Holy Spirit.

Man can not write without God's help. God does not need me to talk for Him I only share what God has reveal to us to you all. The siller this God seems?? That is why I share with you the truth so that you will be free of your silliness.

You have already prove you are not a Christian and you should not be ashamed that you are not a Christian but be ashamed that you pretend to be one.
The Bible is not in error that is why we Christians worship and recognize the teaching of Jesus Christ.

So for the THIRD TIME as it seems that you can't read Moses parted the Red Sea then he crossed over together with the escaping Hebrew slaves running away from the Egyptian army.
To all members be it known that this is the third time I have answered.

Here is a scientific theory for you to chew on; It is believe that Moses spend almost 40 years in the desert not doing anything he was studying the terrain and weather pattern he knew when and where would be the best time to cross the red sea that is why Moses led the Hebrews to a particular area not anywhere to cross over because he knew that at that particular time and place a strong wind will come around like a tornado and split open the ocean he also knew how long it last that is why he was hurrying the Hebrews to quickly cross over before the wind dies down.

Well MEMBERS....need I have to even say anything?

I have asked WanRen....a...TOUGH QUESTION....which is in line with the NAME of this topic...and I have asked him again...and again...and again...and now one more time.

WanRen is MORE THAN HAPPY....to spout out his Religious Ideology which I really don't mind as long as he would at the very least RESPECT THE NATURE OF THE FORUM'S TOPIC!!!!

It is apparent that WanRen considers any member asking a REASONABLE QUESTION specific to this Topic as an ATTACK UPON THE BIBLE AND GOD AND CHRISTIANITY....and WanRen has said so fairly clearly more than one time.

He believes that anyone who QUESTIONS Christian Dogma or Biblical Verse as being an Agent of the Atheist/Evil Movement to discredit the Bible and Christianity and GOD...himself....although I have NO IDEA how a GOD could have GENDER?

It is clearly apparent that WanRen is perfectly capable, suited and actually HAPPY to bury his HEAD IN THE SAND whenever any viable and reasonable question based upon facts, logic and history SHOWS OR PROVES that many of the ridiculous FABLES written in the Bible....stories which the VAST MAJORITY OF CHRISTIANITY AND CHRISTIAN'S AND CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP.....have SMARTLY left behind and explained to the Faithful decades ago that there do in FACT exist stories in the Bible that should not and cannot be taken LITERALLY....and that as far as the Pope and other Christian Leaders are concerned they are FABLES TO BE USED AS TEACHING TOOLS.

The vast majority of Christians have also left behind...SMARTLY....the IDIOCY of continuing to believe the Fables of Genesis are anything but NICE STORIES written by ANCIENT MAN who was struggling to come to terms and make sense of the world...never mind the Universe....in the best way he could.

Ancient Man did not know a Worlwide Flood covering all land masses was IMPOSSIBLE....or that it was impossible to put 2 of every species...never mind asexually reproducing plant species and Microbial Life....on a BOAT.

Ancient Man had NO IDEA the Earth was ANCIENT IN THE EXTREME...OVER 4.5 Billion Years old and for Ancient Man....6000 years was a HUGE NUMBER.

Ancient Man did not have the knowledge to understand that one Man and One Woman do not have the Genetic Diversity to populate a Planet never mind inbreeding would make 4 generations down the line basically sterile or result in extreme Genetic Abnormalities.

Ancient Man could not foresee that Humans were the culmination of over a BILLION PLUS YEARS of Cross Species Evolution.

Ancient Man would have been baffled to realize that any GOD....could not have come to be existing in the same form as a Human as ancient man wrote....GOD made Man in his own image....actually I think it say's...OUR OWN IMAGE...but hey...KOOKY! LOL!!!

Human Beings IMAGE....and the way the Bible states this is specific to PHYSICAL IMAGE....as some have attempted to say the people who wrote the Bible meant Spiritual Image or Moral Image...etc....NO....they were specific and meant....PHYSICAL IMAGE.

Well...ancient man could not have realized that such a Human Image is the result of over a BILLION years of Evolution and that we have lungs designed to breath air that is approx. 20% Oxygen and 80% Nitrogen existing at a SPECIFIC ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE....and we have EARS and HEARING and an EARDRUM....designed to detect KINETIC ENERGY via Vibratory State of Air...or SOUND WAVES within AIR.

Everything a Human Body is has been EVOLVED specific for life on Earth....a GOD....might be able to take our Image....but such a GOD....certainly did not originate with such an Image.

I will tell you what DEEPLY SADDENS ME.

Why is it that such people as WanRen see the TRUTH as a THREAT?

After all....my questions are not an attempt to disprove the existence of any GOD. There is no conflict with a persons belief if a GOD....and EVOLUTION...GEOLOGY...HISTORY....AND TRUTH AND FACTS.

A GOD cannot be either proven to exist or not exist and THAT is why I am AGNOSTIC....even if WanRen often paints me as an Atheist.

But....I am SAD...because there are FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE LIKE WANREN!!!!

They see CONSPIRACY behind ever reasonable question....they feel anger toward those who seek enlightenment.....and WORSE OF ALL....they cannot respect another persons differing beliefs....and they will call those attempting to display the facts and truth as LIARS, BLASPHEMERS AND ANTAGONISTS.

What I posted about MOSES....and how the Stone Tablets with ancient Hebrew carved into them that the Hebrews carved during their EXODUS from Egypt and these carvings are what the basis of the story written in the Old Testament and FIRST in the Hebrew Bible came from.

The carvings specifically state that MOSES CROSSED THE REED SEA....23 TIMES in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible/Old Testament). ....it say's MOSES CROSSED THE YAM SUPH....REED SEA.

It DOES NOT SAY MOSES PARTED THE RED SEA....IT NEVER HAPPENED....THAT IS A CREATED STORY AND MISTRANSLATION....AND THE KING JAMES BIBLE IS WRONG!!!

    But...so what if it's wrong?

It's a NICE STORY....it's not what happen...but it teaches a lesson and that is all that matters.

At the VERY LEAST...WanRen could be a MAN and ADMIT THE FACTS!!!

Oh...and WanRen....THIS...is what is in the LINK you provided.

Yam Suph (Hebrew: יַם-סוּף) is a phrase which occurs about 23 times in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible/Old Testament) and has traditionally been understood to refer to the salt water inlet located between Africa and the Arabian peninsula, known in English as the Red Sea. More recently, alternative western scholarly understandings of the term have been proposed for those passages where it refers to the Israelite Crossing of the Sea as told in Exodus 13-15. These proposals would mean that Yam Suph is better translated in these passages as Sea of Reeds or Sea of Seaweed; see Egyptian reed fields, also described as the ka of the Nile Delta. In Jewish sources I Kings 9:26 "yam suph" is translated as Sea of Reeds at Eilat on the Gulf of Eilat.

The Gulf of Aqaba, to the east/right. Also visible are the Gulf of Suez to the west/left, the Sinai Peninsula separating the two gulfs, and part of the Red Sea in the lower left corner.
In the Biblical narrative of The Exodus the phrase Yam Suph refers to the body of water that the Israelites crossed following their exodus from Egypt. The appropriate translation of the phrase remains a matter of dispute, as does the exact location referred to. One possible translation of Yam Suph is "Sea of Reeds", (suph by itself means 'reed', e.g. in Exodus 2:3). This was pointed out as early as the 11th century, by Rashi.

As ALL MEMBERS CAN CLEARLY READ.....the LINK you provided does NOT state what YOU just posted that being and I quote...."So for the THIRD TIME as it seems that you can't read Moses parted the Red Sea"...end quote WanRen.

YOUR OWN PROVIDED LINK CONTRADICTS YOUR OWN POST!!!!

You post that the LINK stated Moses Parted the Red Sea WHEN THE LINK YOU PROVIDED CLEARLY STATES MOSES CROSSED THE REED SEA!!!!!!!!!!

Why.....WHY.....would you provide a LINK to a site that DISPROVES YOUR OWN POST!!!!???

    I will tell you why.

You think that people will not check up on what you post.

Either that or you really need help.

No guess involved . YOU posted many times that god died....it's unfortunate for you that you don't know that everyone here can read English, has seen your posts and know that you have said , god died, god can't die, god died, god didn't die about a million times...

Atheists do it all the time... this is silly.

Then you should stop because all you are doing is making him look silly.

As I read what you post you make this god look really bad, so if your intention is to make this god look good,.. I would start by stopping what you are doing now.

Yes the more you post the sillier this god seems. If you really love this god then I would advise you to remain silent as you aren't helping.

The only thing I have seen you share so far are far fetched lies and misrepresentations of a being that you claim is the most highly sophisticated being in the universe.

The silliness is all yours my friend and you should be ashamed for trying to make us think this god of yours is as silly as your misconstrued warped notions of how this being thinks.

Well, AboveAlpha, you seem pretty animated about this. I can understand that. Take comfort though in the incontrovertible fact that faith in god is dying out. I don't think it'll be too many more decades before we hit the tipping point and faith is essentially extinguished and left to the ash heap.

    Cheers.

Not true. If there were any civilizations the Great Flood of Noah wiped them out, thus any civilizations that run continuously did so only way after the Great Flood of Noah.

Recorded history does not go back 20,000 yrs. but of course we have theories that go back billions of years.

Only Noah and his family of 8 people survived the Great Flood. How do I know that you might ask? Well it's because God told us, and God being omniscient has 100% of all knowledge.

The words are also clear that the sun was created on day 1, besides it makes more logical sense for it since plants and all vegetation were created on day 3.

Plants and vegetation need sunlight to survive, so logically speaking it makes sense for the sun to be created before the plants and vegetation.

So who is right?...only God knows!

I really don't want people to lose their Faith...as some people really need to believe...even if it is really not important to me.

But what I would like is for people to GROW UP AND EVOLVE!!!!

It just get's sickening after awhile when Zealots attempt to FORCE their belief system and even DOGMA in some cases into every aspect of daily life.

Then we have to listen to arguments about how some Bible Belt Christian Sect is out in force protesting the removal of a Statue of Jesus from the front of a Town Hall...or like recently....how certain religious people were screaming bloody murder over the removal of a Ten Commandments Wall Engraving in a Public Courthouse building.

These people are more that quick enough to either attempt to get such Christian Statues or Christian Specific figures BUILT on or in Public Buildings citing FREEDOM OF RELIGION....but if we do this for Christianity...then EVERY RELIGION would have the right to do this as well....so since that would be the case...how would these same Extremist Christian's going to feel about a statue of Mohammed in front of the Court House or a statue of Buddha inside and don't forget about the Satan Worshipers because..HEY...FREEDOM OF RELIGION!!!

    THAT...is why NONE ARE ALLOWED!!!

But...they just can't understand this...and they cry....YOU ARE SUPPRESSING OUR RIGHTS!!!

Actually the best answer is God didn't tell us. For if He wanted us to know, He would have told us how it was done.

OK...without you thinking I am picking on you....just how and what did WanRen post that anyone here could consider to be a Logical Point?

He does not provide any tangible proof to back his statement.

He has just provided an OPINION.

Christians believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and part of the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Tell me do those religions believe in the same way as we Christians?...yes or no?

Different Christian's believe different things as far as the Bible is concerned.

Sure....the very basis of Christianity is the belief in Jesus as the Son of GOD....but when Emperor Constantine ordered the creation of a Biblical Canon to create the New Testament....there was a VERY REAL ISSUE that could have gone either way.

That issue was whether the Biblical Canon would use the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John...as these Gospels described Jesus as stating he was the ACTUAL Son of GOD....or would the Biblical Canon use the other 8 Apostles Gospels which stated that Jesus taught that ALL MEN AND WOMEN could become the Son's and Daughter's of GOD by following the teachings of Jesus.

Now THAT is a FACT and this is the choice the Biblical Canon had to make.

Thus....a bunch of Men chosen by the Emperor decided ARBITRARILY.....whether the New Testament would depict Jesus one way or another.
