He is answering questions, it's just that you don't like his answers...tough! you got to learn to accept it!

The Bible doesn't give us dates.

The Bible doesn't give us any details, do you think the Bible is a medical book?...wow! you have so much to learn!

would said learning take the form of 'believing anything, no matter how preposterous', by any chance?

because any ACTUAL learning does not lead the sane individual to the conclusion that a prehistoric jewish drunk really did live for 950 years - by magic.

I thought you might like that.
I don't condone eating children, babies and fetuses, so I think my credibility is way more than yours.

You call answers like adults ate all the children, babies and fetuses answers? Well it certainly is, and I certainly don't like it. It is ludicrous and you agree with it. Even more ludicrous.

WanRen has never expressed that if anyone wants clarity and insight concerning the Bible that they should come to him to get it. But people are coming to him with questions and he has been answering them.

So if you and others feel he is not giving answers that gives clarity and insight, why do you all keep coming to him with questions? Obviously it means his answers are clear enough and do give insight. I have observed his responses and I don't have any problems understanding them. It is clear enough to me what he is conveying over in his responses. His command of the English language in my view is good enough and should not be an issue here.

Who communicates in English or any other language for that matter with great clarity? Who is to say what qualifies as great clarity? Sometimes I find things you say unclear, you might think you have expressed yourself clearly but others may not think so.

And who can read with greater clarity? Have you ever read contracts written out by lawyers? or how about the Obamacare mandate?...lol In the lawyers perspective everything is clearly written out but to the average person it is so confusing.

And so when WR and myself call you out for misinterpreting passages in the Bible, can we conclude you are not reading it with greater clarity? you are confused about it? And that WR and myself possess much more superior comprehension skills than you?

That's your opinion, my opinion says he can.

I agree that WR's command of English is not the issue here, and shouldn't be seen as the issue. It is, as you say, good enough.

The issue is the THINGS HE SAYS, not how he says them. And the reason we continue to ask questions is because we can't quite believe these things. They are, after all, spectacularly nutty.

What is good about it ?

How has the Bible been verified ? Why are you a cheerleader for lies. Is this what you think Jesus desires ?

Sure there is recorded history back that long. Cave paintings/writings/drawings. Civilizations that had tools that are found. A lot of evidence for humans living many thousands of years ago.
If God is omniscient, why did he '6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.'
He knew it was going to happen. No reason for repentance or grieving. I repeat, it was known to happen, it could happen no other way.

What passages have been misinterpreted by Bruce ? Is it WanRen's "The wicked people ate their babies and so the flood did not kill any babies"

Or is it your " God created everything in existence" but "God did not create Satan" passage.

Since when does logic need to make sense. God can create plants to live without the sun.
Afterall, he made enough water to flood near 5 miles high.
He impregnated a woman without ever touching her.
He led an entire nation of people out of egypt and left no trace behind.
So with God all things are possible.
So, plants could survive for 1 day without the sun. And that would be perfectly biblically logical.

what does 'the holy bible has been verified' even mean?

verified to be a book? technically, that's the only possible meaning of the statement.

It is one thing to have a belief that the Bible is 100% the word of God. It is a whole other level of delusion to claim that all of these 5000-2000 year old stories have been verified.

It is yet another level of delusion to say something has been verified when you have no proof of this verification and then go one step further and claim that those who hold a contradictory opinion are not credible.

How can you verify "God sent a global flood that killed everyone" Even if there was a global flood of Genesis proportions there is no way to verify that it was God that sent it.

The fact of the matter is that there evidence shows that there was not a global flood some 4500 years ago.

How you verify that some dude named Abraham was spoken to by God. How do you verify which God it was that spoke to him ? How do you verify that Abraham was delusional and made the whole thing up.

How do you verify that Jesus is in heaven at the right hand of the Father or that he was indeed God. How do you verify that any of the books of the Bible are true and accurate ?

The claim "The Bible is 100% valid" just does not make any sense.

you can't. all you can do is wish-think.

though why, when there are fifty zillion possible things to wish-think for, you'd choose THAT load of old goat-herd nonsense remains the great mystery.

So your position is that there are no rules of grammar, no conventions of rhetoric, no standards to English speech or its written forms.
    Good to know.

Obviously you don't fully understand why God purged the entire human race except for Noah and his 7 other family members. God being omniscient knew that humans would still sin after the Great Flood but He just couldn't let the humans living during Noah's time to keep on living and passing off their corrupt offspring to exist on the earth.

What can be understood without question is that the world that was then, the world of Noah, was incredibly corrupt and perverted. Click on the link below it gives an in depth insight into the purpose of the Great Flood.

    Read more: http://www.gotquestions.org/Noah-flood.html#ixzz2vnzynJHK

Again it's obvious you have not fully understood the purpose of the Great Flood, first of all it wasn't to finally wipe out sin forever because it wouldn't, God knew that. You really need to click on the link I provided above to get some fresh insight.

Lastly, you have misinterpreted Scripture, which is no surprise, I mean most of your buddies at the fraternity of non-believers have also been guilty numerous of times misinterpreting Scripture....it's a trait you all commonly share equally...lol

Scripture does not depict Noah as being an alcoholic, granted he did get drunk once as written in Scripture, but that does not make him an alcoholic.

Furthermore Scripture does not say he was having sex with his own son, that's just your perverted, sinful deviant mind misinterpreting what is written.

Actually a fresh start with be for you to click on the link I provide above so you can finally begin to understand the purpose of the Great Flood of Noah.

    .

I think perhaps this fellow is confusing Noah with the Catholic clergy. This is no reason to accuse the rest of us with misinterpreting scripture. Lame as usual.

If God knew that evil would exist after the flood then it does not matter that the "evil humans" would pass off their corrupt offspring.

If you are going to speak for God ... "giving us Gods rational", then at least give something that does not put foolish thoughts in God's mind.

Why do you make God out to be an illogical God who does foolish things ?

You really need to stop reading only links that agree with your ideas and try looking at arguments from the other side. If you ever take Philosophy you will learn (if you have a good teacher) that you need to understand the best arguments from both sides in order to form an objective opinion.

You preach to others " go read my side" but do not investigate the other side.

God is absolutely omniscient no doubt about that. God created us knowing that we will be good that is why God gave us the most wonderful gift that He did not give to all other creatures INTELLIGENCE with this God let go of us to shape this universe and stayed with us to protect us protect us evil. That is how massive God's all knowing power is He trust us with this universe.

One major reason why the Egyptians decided to enslave the Hebrews and then later kill all the first born was because they were afraid of the growing population of the Hebrews there is no doubt that chances are there were 600,000 Hebrews women, men, old and young outnumbering the Egyptians. But what the Egyptians have that the Hebrews don't was that the Egyptians have weapons and very good warriors.

Israel was never the aggressor they settled in Egypt not as conquering armies after they left Egypt and arrived at the promise lands asking for space from the different tribes instead they decided to wage an aggressive war against Israel. David aggression is nothing compare to the Babylonian, Greeks, Persians and Romans.

Moses and Joshua were eventually able to train many Jews to fight well especially with Moses background and knowledge in Egyptian military science they were able to defeat the stronger Amalekite.

I see your point very well and that is you are against the Bible you claim David was the aggressor against who? Against the invading Philistines, the Syrians, the many other tribes that kept threatening Israel? How about the Egyptians.,Persians, Greeks or Romans are they as aggressive as David or less?

Nope God send His son because man have sin if man had not sinned then no reason for God to send His Son. Man did what they wanted to do not what God wanted them to do.
Only the evil and wicked will want to eat their children and ask their wives to kill their children for dinner, breakfast and lunch that is why God send the great flood and out of thousands of people only Noah and his family were worth saving that was how extensive evil and wickedness was and God promise to send His Son to redeem those who were victimized by evil.
