This is a joke! You are hung up on a D ... You need to stop because you are making yourself and this god look very silly!

And you need to do this because god is an idiot and is not capable of actually getting the words in his own book correct so he needs you and WR to come along and explain it?

If this god of yours is so special why can't he just write a book that says exactly what he means ?

Are his English skills on the same sub par level as WR's?

Just how stupid do you expect us all to believe this god is according to you?

Why doesn't god just take a writing class and skip the middle man?

Is this god of yours "mentally challenged" is that why he can't write a book that means what it says and he needs you and WR to interpret it for him?

Why do you expect others to worship a god that can't even say what he means?

What makes your interpretation any better than Rev. Fred Phelps or Rev. Ted Haggard or other Reverends just like the ones mentioned?

Wouldn't this all be a little simpler if god would just come out of the closet and reveal himself rather than writing a book that doesn't mean what it says and rely on Rev. Fred Phelps to interpret it?

Explaining things that others can't is never going off topic. Nice explanation. Shows there are many sides to God. Or many version of God. Which is most likely. God of the OT is 180 different from the God of the NT.

I don't speak for God too but I speak on His behalf by understanding what He wants us to understand through proper interpretation of the Bible.
Reading and not understanding is what causing one to misinterpret the Bible that is why church fathers for centuries have been gathering all information, they prayed, meditate that they be guided by the Holy Spirit to understand and interpret God's words correctly.

God's power over evil is that He can destroy evil if He so chose to but God chose to let men destroy evil so that men can fully understand good. For God is already all good.
Good you chose good! Then why you blame God for evil?

English language excellence has nothing to do in loving or worshiping God. Such excuse is only use as an excuse not to worship, love or understand God.

I am just one of the thousands of Christians who understand that Jewish scholars got it wrong.
    In Genesis 1: 1-10
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

God never created evil, evil evolved after God's creation.Genesis 1 says it clearly no where does it say God created evil together with His creation.
yes ladies and gentlemen I am part of the thousands of Christians who believe in the truth that God did not create evil and that God is on the side of good not evil.

As I have said I have answered all your questions and debunked all your lies about the Bible and God and because of the truth of my answers you can not handle it so you keep sticking on your lies but I will continue to refute and clear all your lies until none is left. So what is your next question or lie?

Yes, yes, yes, yes. I only have it one way and that is the Bible is the Word of God it is the literal Word of God and I agree with the Bible. And because of that you can not accept the truth and have to continue to stick to your lies.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

It does not say God "created evil" it said "and create evil". Genesis 1 clearly show God never created evil.

9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

But this variance of 3 million miles is just a small percent of the actual distance between the Earth and the Sun, and so it will not cause an appreciable change in the average temperature (especially when considering the actual change in temperature on account of seasons).

There are an abundance of evidence that gives credibility to the existence of God but of course they will only be met with denials by the fraternity of the non-believers of which you belong to and so what's the use/sense of presenting them?

I'm comfortable in what I believe, I don't need to prove to you or anyone else for that matter that God is the Creator of the universe. If He isn't the Creator then "nothing" is the creator.

And let me tell you that it takes an incredibly large amount of faith to believe "nothing" is the creator of the universe more so than the faith required into believing that a personal being God is the Creator of the universe, in other words everything just "popped" into existence from "nothing" requires an incredibly large amount of faith to believe that.

You and your fraternity don't know or perhaps refuse to acknowledge/accept that it's the work of a Supreme Being, Almighty God Himself but we Christians know/believe it's the work of Almighty God.

So you think maybe for no apparent reason this uniformity of laws of nature just accidentally is the way it is? Nah, I'm not buying that, again it's the work of Almighty God. This uniform laws of nature is what keeps our lives possible.

Well for some but not for all. I know that some consider evolution to be equivalent to atheism, BioLogos sees evolution as a description of how God created all life. Christians however disagree with BioLogos on how God created.

How do you know billions of people throughout history weren't pursued? You can't possibly know that. You claim you haven't been pursued by yet you come to these forums frequently discussing God. Maybe you think He isn't pursuing you but the reality is, He is pursuing you but right now you're just in the denial state.

So basically what you're saying is that you dislike your ignorance since you also have faith. You have faith in what you believe yet you don't positively know for sure what you believe in is true/right. That's why you come here to these forums discussing God on a frequent basis.

Like they say, "When the critic says there's no Creator (God) he's basing this on his own insight, and unless he has insight into 100% of all knowledge he can never be sure he's right."

Sorry but arguing over a conspiracy and arguing over the existence of God are not shall we say in the same category, it's like apples and oranges. A conspiracy is not a living being, it can't pursue anyone...lol

Oh but you're so wrong, Jesus was indeed unique! He was the only one that resurrected from the dead which sets Him apart from all the others who falsely claimed they were God.

Jesus resurrection proved that He was God. But of course now you're going to ask me to prove it...lol

Sorry but you either have faith in our Lord Savior Jesus Christ or not have faith in Him at all, it's your choice to make...choose wisely!

Because I am one of the many Christians who trust in universal salvation, because they believe that God wants to save all the world and that He is omnipotent. So whatever He wills shall happen.

See above. While every first grade student of theology can tell you that the Gospel of John was in all likelihood not written by John the Apostle, I do indeed believe that the Gospel of John tells us inspired truth. As for what I and many other Christians believe that truth to be: Your very quote tells us that Christ came to save the world. So who am I to mistrust His ability to do just that: save the world rather than just a select few. So I believe that everybody will eventually see the light and God will be “all in all” (1 Cor. 15:20-28 ).

I also believe that Christians should not be smug and self-righteous. The only judgment that’s a concern of mine is God’s judgment on myself. And when it comes to that, I trust that if Jesus told His disciples to forgive those who sinned against them “seventy times seven” (which is Judaic code for “endlessly”), He too will forgive me my sins - even my doubts in tribulations - for His grace is endless. (Mt.18:21-22).

I went to Sunday School from the age of 3, which is about the age at which I found myself ‘reborn’ so to speak. I had two years of catechumen lessons with my pastor (Lutheran-Reformed), gave Sunday School lessons myself, had lessons in Catholic religion in primary school and lessons in Protestant religion throughout secondary school, then I studied Protestant Theology at a German university for a while. So I’d say that I studied the Bible rather thoroughly. It just so happens that my interpretation of it varies from yours and so does the interpretation of quite a lot of other Christians: http://www.theologicalstudies.org.uk/article_universalism_bauckham.html

You did nothing of the sort. What you are at best equipped to do is answer questions regarding your very own specific branch of Christianity, which - just telling by your remarks on the authorship of the Gospel of John - is regarded as rather ignorant by most other Christians.
So with all due respect for your personal beliefs, I suggest you do not falsely present them as the only binding ones for Christianity as such.
    Have a blessed day.

Certain things had to happen first, it was a divine plan. We read in Scripture, "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,---Galatians 4:4 ESV

This verse declares that God the Father sent His Son when "the time had fully come." There were many things occurring at the time of the first century that, at least by human reasoning, seem to make it ideal for Christ to come then.

Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ fulfilled 352 prophecies that were foretold in the OT.

Do the Jews believe that? and it is their scriptures you are refering to. You talk, post and act like an indoctrinated Christian without even understanding or considering that the Jews were given these scriptures by God who gave them his interpretation. You come along and tell them they are wrong. What is it that makes your interpretation of their scriptures right? Don't tell me the NT takes precedence. It may to you, but not to Jewish eyes.

The references you give are from the Christian standpoint. The Jews give other views some of which I went through many moons ago.

You just don't give up do you ... Tell us genius how is it possible to tell a lie when all you do is ask a question?

So how is it again that some one asking a question is telling a lie? Are you really so stupid as to believe that myself and others are not capable of reading and knowing that only questions have been asked? You make yourself

and this god of yours look very dim witted ... you are not helping this god you claim to worship by making him and your self look stupid I hope you realize that.

No lies have been told only questions asked and you have answered none of them intelligently.

A question can't be a lie you silly sod!

Then you acknowledge that god created evil ... thanks for finally answering one question!
I didn't really need you to tell me that god created evil as I can read his silly book, the one that you and your buddy claim doesn't mean what it says, and discover for myself what it actually says! Besides if I wanted the bible

interpreted correctly I would go to a professional like Rev. Fred Phelps for it's interpretation not some debate forum with a couple wanna be preachers trying to tell me what it means!

That IS funny, isn't it? Mitt demands "tough questions"....gets them...and then calls them "lies" and attacks the people asking them.

It's ALMOST like...he's not being completely honest in his desire to get "tough questions"?!?!?! :)

I can't give up on you I must continue to answer your questions and lies or else you'll accuse us of ignoring you. So do you still have any questions or lies?

Asking question is not a lie but lying about an answer is a lie. I am very sure and confident that you and your "them" crowd can read

Actually that is part of what I am doing clearing that lie that you have been presenting about God and thanks to us Christians for sharing the truth the only people that are looking like dim wit and stupid are them not us and for sure not God.

I am not sure if you even understand the word intelligent? maybe that is the reason why you insist that your questions are not being answered?

No a question can not be a lie you have to make it a lie.

Where did I say that God created evil? So you agree that God did not created evil good I knew you will understand. Thank God.

How can you know God did not created evil when you consider the Bible silly book. Well your hero and idol Rev. Fred Phelps will be cursing you to hell for claiming the Bible is a silly book you are lucky he is not around anymore.

2nd on your list. Where has satan's head been bruised?
    2. Gen. 3:15 He will bruise Satan's head.

    3. Gen. 3:15 Christ's heel would be bruised with nails on the cross Matthew 27:35, Luke 24:39-40
3rd in the list from your link. Explain how Gen 3:15 prophecies christ's bruised heel?

4th in the list from your link.
    Gen. 5:24
24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

    How is this a prophecy?

I think your link is bunk. Fabrications. A link from a wolf's site to fool the sheep.

Well of course you don't that's why you're a non-believer, you can't understand the importance of the greatest sacrifice ever in the history of mankind. First off let me point out to you that Jesus always existed, He is eternal and so before He came to earth, His home was always in Heaven. He humbled Himself and became a human like us with the sole purpose of saving mankind from the destructive power of sin. Below is a thorough explanation of why Jesus had to die from my favorite website.

When we ask a question such as this, we must be careful that we are not calling God into question. To wonder why God couldn’t find “another way” to do something is to imply that the way He has chosen is not the best course of action and that some other method would be better. Usually what we perceive as a “better” method is one that seems right to us. Before we can come to grips with anything God does, we have to first acknowledge that His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts—they are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8. In addition, Deuteronomy 32:4 reminds us that “He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.” Therefore, the plan of salvation He has designed is perfect, just, and upright, and no one could have come up with anything better.

The Scripture says, “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Evidence affirms that the sinless Jesus bled and died on a cross. Most importantly, the Bible explains why Jesus’ death and resurrection provide the only entrance to heaven.

The punishment for sin is death.

God created earth and man perfect. But when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s commands, He had to punish them. A judge who pardons law-breakers isn’t a righteous judge. Likewise, overlooking sin would make the holy God unjust. Death is God’s just consequence for sin. “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Even good works cannot make up for wrongs against the holy God. Compared to His goodness, “All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6). Ever since Adam’s sin, every human has been guilty of disobeying God’s righteous laws. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Sin is not just big things like murder or blasphemy, but also includes love of money, hatred of enemies, and deceit of tongue and pride. Because of sin, everyone has deserved death – eternal separation from God in hell.

The promise required an innocent death.

Although God banished Adam and Eve from the garden, He didn’t leave them without hope of heaven. He promised He would send a sacrifice to take the punishment they deserved (Genesis 3:15). Until then, men would sacrifice innocent lambs, showing their repentance from sin and faith in the future Sacrifice from God who would bear their penalty. God reaffirmed His promise of the Sacrifice with men such as Abraham and Moses. Herein lies the beauty of God’s perfect plan: God Himself provided the only sacrifice (Jesus) who could atone for the sins of His people. God’s perfect Son fulfilled God’s perfect requirement of God’s perfect law. It is perfectly brilliant in its simplicity. “God made Him (Christ), who knew no sin, to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

    The prophets foretold Jesus’ death.

From Adam to Jesus, God sent prophets to mankind, warning them of sin’s punishment and foretelling the coming Messiah. One prophet, Isaiah, described Him:

“Who has believed what they heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors” (Isaiah 53:1-12). He likened the coming Sacrifice to a lamb, slaughtered for the sins of others.

Hundreds of years later, Isaiah’s prophecy was fulfilled in the perfect Lord Jesus, born of the virgin Mary. When the prophet John the Baptist saw Him, he cried, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). Crowds thronged Him for healing and teaching, but the religious leaders scorned Him. Mobs cried out, “Crucify Him!” Soldiers beat, mocked, and crucified Him. As Isaiah foretold, Jesus was crucified in between two criminals but was buried in a rich man’s tomb. But He didn’t remain in the grave. Because God accepted His Lamb’s sacrifice, He fulfilled another prophecy by raising Jesus from the dead (Psalm 16:10; Isaiah 26:19).

Why did Jesus have to die? Remember, the holy God cannot let sin go unpunished. To bear our own sins would be to suffer God’s judgment in the flames of hell. Praise God, He kept His promise to send and sacrifice the perfect Lamb to bear the sins of those who trust in Him. Jesus had to die because He is the only one who can pay the penalty for our sins.

You are entitled to your opinion but in my view it was the greatest showing of love that God bestowed upon us. Furthermore if it wasn't for Jesus sacrifice none of us let alone mere millions of us as you have suggested wouldn't go to heaven, we would all be doomed to hell for the penalty of our sins.

And you said that ANY fluctuation of distance would cause life on Earth to vanish. Just admit you were wrong, you aren't God.

Maybe you'll learn a lesson as to why your interpretation of the evidence is incorrect.

    Then why are you here?

    Why's that?

There's a stark difference between knowing and believing. You believe, you don't know.

And the reason you can't buy that is what, exactly?

People who considered evolution to be equivalent to atheism are idiots.

I think you and I have a different definition for "pursuing".

There's a difference between believing in something with no evidence to back up that belief, and believing in something because the evidence backs it up. The first is faith, the latter is empiricism.

Good thing I'm not saying he doesn't definitely exist.

...Except for Lazarus. Elisha resurrected a child in 2nd Kings. Resurrections in other religions aren't anything special either.

You have been asked many questions just pick one and answer it. I'm trying to keep this simple for you but I don't know how to get it to a preschool level!
