Part 16 is a continuation of Post your tough questions pertaining to God/Jesus/Holy Bible and I will do my best to clarify and make sense of it to those who are unaware...I still have questions unanswered in Part 6 thru 15.
Also I might answer questions that are on other members threads and so this will keep me real busy with the many questions that I will answer from my point of view/perspective keeping in line with Scripture.

I don't want my intentions to come across as converting you or whatever lol... but rather clear up things etc... so ask away.

What madness? I'm quoting directly from the Bible, those are not my words, God has made Himself perfectly clear in this passage.

Scripture tells us, "For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.

There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants." John 3:16-21 NLT

So are you saying Catholics and Orthodox are rejecting this passage in Scripture? Or are you just making stuff up? If you are then it's you who should stop this madness.

Well, my question would be what makes you think you are equipped to answer questions regarding Christianity?
I'm a Christian myself and happen to disagree already with your second post here.

You bring up one passage and that passage is not Jesus speaking.

What you neglect is the many other passages where Jesus is speaking directly about what is required to enter heaven and it is a works formula.

What you also neglect is that John is a Pauline fusion work and that nether Paul nor the writer of John ever met Jesus.

This does not mean that John is necessarily wrong but, what it does mean is that the NT contains contradictory salvation formulations.

This contradiction is the reason why different denominations within Christianity have contradictory beliefs. Protestants believe in Sola Fide - salvation by faith alone as per John and Paul. Catholics and Orthodox believe in a more works based model.

You can take which ever side you wish but there is no denying that there is more than one Salvation formula given in the NT.

I don't need to believe in fairy tales to understand the implications of their intended lesson! And to answer your question directly ... no I don't believe there is as silly a god as the bible portrays.

You are kidding only yourself. You wouldn't believe in this silly god if it weren't presented in this silly book you call the bible. How do I know ... You quote and present your arguments based on certain verses of the book you choose to make your points. (of course you never quote any of the silly verses I point out)

The bible is a real book ... I can see it, feel it, read it, understand it, and then laugh at it because it is so silly. You are real ... I can respond to you, I can converse over the internet with you, I can evoke a response from you, and then I can laugh at those silly responses! None of these things can be done by or with your magic sky god in the bible ... except I can laugh at the silly things the silly book the bible says this god does!

Why would an all knowing, all loving, god create evil if he doesn't like it?

Why would this god punish people for something he himself created?

Do you think that perhaps you don't really understand this god as much as you pretend to?

Of course you laugh that is what they have been doing when they had Jesus crucified, they laugh and clap when Christians were being crucified and fed to wild beast just because they were Christians, and yes they continue to laugh today and treat all the real sufferings of people around the world as silly that is why we Christians do not laugh at you nor do we treat things silly instead we see things as as it is real and concerning because of the Bible we see the real world.

Why do you guys post a thread with a title like "ask your tough questions" and then when tough questions are asked you don't answer them?

Is it because you can't answer them or is it that you guys are just flat out liars?

    Isaiah 45:
5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.

God did not create evil in that Gospel Isaiah 45 God is saying that nothing is above Him and that evil will never win because God has the ability to contain and defeat evil no matter what Satan does evil will never win. That is why God is all knowing He knows evil will never win but evil doers does not know that is why evil people always resort to extreme violence and terror they think they can win by being evil. God act on the evilness of people and the consequence of evil is punishment or hell just like evil punish good people for being good. That is how much I understand God that God wants us to be good not evil.

I just answered your tough question and refuted and corrected your lies. Any more tough question?

God is all knowing He knows evil will never win but evil doers does not know that is why evil people always resort to extreme violence and terror they think they can win by being evil. God act on the evilness of people and the consequence of evil is punishment or hell just like evil punish good people for being good and God reward good people with eternal happiness in Heaven. That is how much I understand God that God wants us to be good not evil.

    You've answered nothing.

Why would god create evil if evil is what he wants us to avoid?

So you are saying that god is an idiot and can't really say what he means in his book ... and he needs you to come along later and tell us all what he really meant ... because god is so stupid that he can't clearly convey his own intended messages?

You sure are adding a lot of interpretation to this simple verse!!!

Wow! You accuse me of not knowing the Bible when the truth is it is you who doesn't know the Bible. That passage I gave you came from the mouth of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ, it was Jesus saying those words, the Apostle John quoted what Jesus had said.

But it is quite clear from these scriptures that God does create good and evil. The Jews have known this for millenia, and now YOU suddenly come along and say that the Jews got it wrong, along with many other things.Your understanding is better than millions of highly regarded Jewish scholars down the centuries?
If all things stem from God's creation then evil must be part of that creation.

Did that come from the mouth of Jesus or did that come from an overzealous author who never met Jesus trying to give credibility to the new Pauline form of Christianity that he was trying to validate.

We do not know the answer to this question.

What we do know is that contradicts what Jesus says in Mark and Matthew about obtaining eternal life and that is the whole point.

What we do know is that are contradictory salvation formulations.

I answered question and clear your lies you don't like my answers does not mean I've answered nothing.
Evil evolved itself and God wants us to avoid evil and be good. Isn't it better to be on the side of good don't you agree?

It is the idiots who don't want to understand God and they chose to be on the side of evil rather than on the side of good. Yes, God need us to explain to you what is truly meant because if not as we can see it as to how you have been misinterpreting His words and use it to promote evil instead of good. My interpretation is very simple God is on the side of good while your interpretation is that evil is good is that what you are trying to say?

Either God is the idiot, doubtful, or the interpretation of the passage is idiotic.
But the why has not been answered.

Are you saying that God did not know that his creations had the potential for evil ?
