What!...I have no clue?...lol that's funny coming from a guy who didn't even know that it was Jesus who spoke the words in John 3:16-21. As a matter of fact you were quoted saying:
Those spoken words from our Lord Savior Jesus Christ in John 3:16-21 are not my words and so why are you saying I have no clue what I'm talking about? You are not making any sense. Do you mean to say our Lord Savior Jesus Christ doesn't know what He is talking about when He was quoted in John 3:16-21? Must be because those are His quoted words, not mine.

We can conclude here that it is you that has no clue what you are talking about...yes?

How could the Bible be in error? The Bible is the infallible Word of God. Do you mean to say Almighty God has made errors in His best selling book of all time?

When you say not accepted by Catholics and Orthodox, do you mean to say every single one of them? How do you know that? Did you take some kind of survey or something on the entire majority of them and they all informed you that they do not accept the inerrancy of the Bible?

And when you say the majority of Protestant denominations do not accept it either how many members are we talking about? Did you do a survey on them as well?

IMHO I believe you're just making stuff up...right? Just spewing out falsehoods, statements that are unsubstantiated.

Would you like some chees with that disingenuous "whine" ? It is one thing to make a mistake. It is quite another to be shown the mistake and to still not see it.

I already told you that the book of John claims that this is Jesus speaking. Are you going to keep repeating "you made a mistake" everytime you get proven wrong ?

You continue to dodge the central premise that the words of Jesus in John are contradicted by the words of Jesus in Matt/Mark.

This means that one of the two is "not" the words of Jesus.

You can conclude what ever you wish but this does not change the fact that you are in denial.

The fact of the matter is that the words of Jesus in John are contradicted by the words of Jesus in Matt/Mark.

The only rational and logical conclusion is that one of the two is not the words of Jesus.

Not rocket science ... simple logic.

Any respectable Biblical Scholar knows the Bible contains additions, omission and interpolation. Some books that used to be in the Bible are no longer there. Shepherd of Hermes for example.

When our modern Bible is compared to copies of the oldest Bible we find 1000's of differences, some of which change the meaning significantly. The long ending of Mark for example.

When the "Dead Sea Scrolls" were found the OT texts were found to have significant differences which completely change the meaning. Here is one example which compares 3 different versions of a Passage in Deuteronomy and it is shown how the references to early paganism were "edited out"

It is the errors, known interpolation, additions, omissions and contradictions that show that the Bible can not possibly be 100% the word of God.

It is precisely because the Bible "is" so fallible that we know that the whole Bible "cant" be the word of God.

I am talking about the stated doctrine of the Church. Take the Catholic Church for example.

Perhaps you are unaware of this but the Catholic Church has a stated "doctrine". The slightest change to this doctrine requires a whole process involving the leaders of the Church and the Pope. In the Catholicism these are called "Cannons" and the leaders of the Church have a big get together called a Council.

The Stated Catholic doctrine is that it does not accept Sola Fide - Salvation by faith alone. The Council of Trent makes various proclamations in relation to the Sola Fide doctrine that include, but are not limited to:

    http://www.ewtn.com/library/councils/trent6.htm

All of Protestantism that I know of accepts Sola Fide as per Martin Luther's doctrinal proclamations.

I did not make up "The council of Trent" nor did I made up Martin Luther's proclamations in relation to Sola Fide.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the Christian Church does not have a singular path to salvation.

I am not saying which one is right and which one is wrong. When you have two propositions that contradict each other then one must be wrong.

What is an undeniable fact is that the Bible contains more than one salvation formulation and these formulations contradict each other.

One of the formulations has to be wrong.

It is the fallibility of the mind of man in his quest to exhalt his ego by leaning on his own understanding that creates the illusion of fallibility in the Bible.

Exactly! Good post! But let's be a little bit more precise otherwise it causes confusion especially with those other religions. Whoever accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord Savior will enter God's Kingdom. Whoever rejects Jesus Christ as their Lord Savior will not enter God's Kingdom. :salute:

I just pick your latest question unless you were not paying attention post # 12 or question # 12
Here was my answer post # 15
    Isaiah 45:
5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.

God did not create evil in that Gospel Isaiah 45 God is saying that nothing is above Him and that evil will never win because God has the ability to contain and defeat evil no matter what Satan does evil will never win. That is why God is all knowing He knows evil will never win but evil doers does not know that is why evil people always resort to extreme violence and terror they think they can win by being evil. God act on the evilness of people and the consequence of evil is punishment or hell just like evil punish good people for being good. That is how much I understand God that God wants us to be good not evil.

Maybe you need to go back to pre-schooling to understand that your questions were being answered?

So now do you have any more questions?

Then why does he repent so much if he did nothing wrong ...

Your god creates evil ... if doing evil is wrong then creating evil is also wrong ...

Dabbling in evil spirits is wrong and yet your god does this also ...

Your god makes " the wicked " ...

    Your god " devises " evil ...

Your god " brings evil " upon cities ...

Your god does evil and admits it ...
And so you lie again because even your own book tells us that your god ... creates, brings, does, sends, speaks and devises evil.

Your god also dabbles in evil spirits and " makes the wicked ".

Your god is not a very nice guy at all and he just loves to destroy, punish, kill and slaughter his creation that you claim he loves so much ...

I guess you have some form of reading comprehension that you ignore my whole answer and just pick on the reference Gospel that you yourself was raising about so here it is again my answer to your question.

Your question on post # 12
Here was my answer post # 15 in reference to the Gospel of Isaiah 45 that you have posted in it's full context.

My answer to your question is:
God did not create evil in that Gospel Isaiah 45 God is saying that nothing is above Him and that evil will never win because God has the ability to contain and defeat evil no matter what Satan does evil will never win. That is why God is all knowing He knows evil will never win but evil doers does not know that is why evil people always resort to extreme violence and terror they think they can win by being evil. God act on the evilness of people and the consequence of evil is punishment or hell just like evil punish good people for being good. That is how much I understand God that God wants us to be good not evil.

God definitely understood and know what evil is and that evil was created or started by Lucifer. Read Genesis 1 God in His creation never created evil it was all good. Evil came after the creation from Lucifer.

    No.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is God and I believe because God has already proven, demonstrated Himself many time countless evidences, historical and scientific evidences God has already proven Himself to us. Unfortunately there are still many who refuse to accept facts.

I understood that you posted a bunch of bible verses that as has been clearly demonstrated by you and your buddy can be interpreted in any way you see fit ... It's not an answer.

Here you go lying again ...

Your god creates evil ... if doing evil is wrong then creating evil is also wrong ...

I see you avoided post #93 ... good thinking on your part!

So not answering a question is an excellent post according to you. And before you go off on one of your snobbish tirades, yes, she gave an answer, but did NOT answer the question. Just as you have not answered the question either. So much for the title thread. LOL.
BTW - what about those that haven't heard of Jesus? You have answered this one before. And said they will be judged by God at the time of judgement. Thereby not needed to accept Jesus as lord and savior.
So you contradict her excellent post. Hmmm.

Mainstream Church Deception of a False Revival to Gain Members and Funds

People claim that many good things are happening in today's mainstream churches. It appears that the apostate church has deceived them into believing this so that it can be promoted and funded. People get excited about a healing or an answered prayer, but fail to comment on the majority that are not. They believe that there is a widespread revival when there is none. As a result people become satisfied with mainstream evangelists and the apostate church. Therefore they will not search for true Christianity and salvation.
People are leaving the mainstream churches in droves. Especially the mainstream Pentecostal churches. The reasons are normally not because they have been offended by being corrected, but because they have been deceived and given false hope by the Church. One of the main criticisms of the mainstream Pentecostal churches is that people do not tell the truth. People claim that they are healed when they are not, and promise healing without delivering. They claim that wonderful things are happening everywhere today. If they were honest they would have more support and a better name, and encourage people to search for the truth. They should be saying that only a very small percentage of people are healed, a lot of our prophecies which we claim are from God turn out to be wrong and the world is almost totally evil. Therefore we must be doing something wrong and it is possible that none of us are saved yet so, we need to seek more and obey God.
I would like to say there are many people saved today and that we are definitely saved, but I can only follow the Bible, observe what is happening today and give an honest opinion.
    http://www.truechristianity.com/christian/saved.htm

This particular site thinks few will be saved. I actually think the bible may something to that effect.

Exactly. Man can't interpret the book correctly that was given to man by God.
