We Christians? I'm a Christian and I don't believe Noah's flood as described in the OT was a real-life historical event. My Churches theological seminaries teach that it almost certainly was not. And I'm a bog-standard Protestant.

because some character in an old book of bronze age myths said it happened? that's the ONLY foundation for your belief? despite years and years of science demonstrating that it never happened? science carried out by real, living humans and checked, repeated, and peer reviewed, over and over again to make sure there was no bias or wishful thinking involved - as per the scientific standard?

I said no such thing. I suggest you go back and re-read what you
think you read before going any farther with your unsubstantiated
    claims.

I stand corrected. So what IS the basis of your belief that the supernatural claims of the bible are true, if not the bible itself?

The Bible is the word of God. It's accuracy is uncanny and especially that
the same storyline is kept throughout some 1,500 years without
contradiction and without seeing what the other was writing. Archeology
is constantly finding more evidence that the Bible is real. The prophecies
of the coming of the Messiah coming true with great detail.

    That's enough for me.

Shouldn't that be "MS" for multiple sclerosis?
