but if one is following the wrong faith, even the wrong christian faith as there are many, it is within one's right to show your lies.

You won't correct others who even believe jesus is NOT God. And claim they are christian. Even tho you believe they are not.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Question. Is Jesus, God?

    - - - Updated - - -

voices in one's head is a tough one to overcome in the real world. Or those sane.

This is the thread in a nutshell.

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle.
Does this sound like the answers of the 3 amigos?

Why is it inappropriate to explain something like this, in prosaic terms? It doesn't have to be one-liners, it just needs to be clear and simple. If you genuinely believe there is an external agency (a god) impacting our lives and our world - in a real, physical sense (either through choosing not to act, or by intervening in some tangible way), then what you're vaguely hinting at should be fairly easy to transmit in a way which leaves no room for confusion or potential misinterpretation. If, on the other hand, you have even a glimmer of a suspicion that it's all just your own emotional landscaping, I can understand your reluctance to discuss it openly.

This thread may not be about Judaism but THE QUESTION is should you be allowed to go on misinterpreting the TANAKH (OT) WITHOUT CONTRADICTION. Or are you afraid of the exposure.

The Christian faith would not be here without the 'use' of the Jewish faith.

I believe the idea of these posts is to debate Christianity's 'difficult' questions. Then stick with Christianity's difficult questions. The Tanakh is Jewish Scripture, some of which has been adapted by Christianity. Stay with the NT and don't try to interpret Jewish scripture for your benefit.

NO. It's the opinion of the Jewish faith.

While you seek to debate the Tanakh I will continue to post in its defence. By the way I AM NOT JEWISH. Just an ex-christian who has studied the bible. Your ability to debate is limited by your reliance on christian websites to answer questions.

Incorporeal's "debating" style has already been done.

Do Jews go to Heaven or to Hell, Mitt?

And if Heaven.....is there any difference, to what happens to your eternal soul, in being a Christian or a Jew?

Go forth and preach to all nations. Unless the HS is guiding you, then keep it a secret.
Is that the summation of your christianity?

You notice what he said about "entrapment".....what he means by that, is his fear of stating what he believes and being unable to defend it. Especially since his favorite line is "PROOF that".....which naturally he couldn't do himself.

Thus...he almost never states what he believes, just engages in attacks on what others state or believe.

For atheist everything is always wrong including to themselves that is why ancient scholars especially the church and today they spend countless hours for their entire adult life researching, learning, documenting everything so that the general population will know about the truth.
“Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”
    ― Dwight D. Eisenhower

Christianity has documented everything. Islam has created their own selective history. Judaism the religion has rejected their covenant with God.
All these point that it is a good thing that we have everything in record that is why there is no way that you can deny FACTS but most of all you can not deny God that is why you work very hard to try to erased God to no avail.

I am sure Margot2 will have an answer for you regarding theTen Commandments was borrowed from the Egyptian
Book of the Dead and the Code of Hammurabi. As I have pointed out before God revealed Himself to Moses there were already pre-existing religion the Greek mythology, Roman, Vandals, Visigoths, Norse, Incas, Chinese mythologies, Hinduism etc. can we say that the Egyptian Book of the Dead and the Code of Hammurabi was borrowed from ancient Hinduism? What God revealed to Moses was totally different from the rest of those religions after this revelation other people will start using Christianity as their reference to create their own false or heretical religion instead of sticking to their own originality they don't because they lack origin and history.
Joseph Smith base on your link has been proven to be a false prophet
    http://exmormon.org/phorum/read.php?2,887931,890263
Modern-day Egyptian scholars have reliably dated these scrolls back to the first century A.D.--nearly 2,000 years after Smith falsely claimed that Abraham had personally handwritten them on Egyptian parchment.
His religion is more related to ancient Egypt's polytheistic.

That is why his new found religion is not Christianity because they do not worship Jesus Christ and yet they deceitfully continue to claim they are Christians some Mormons such as Mitt Romney has never claim Mormon is Christianity.

The only "document" of Christianity is the New Testament. And it is only "FACT" if you believe it is literal, un-edited truth.....but there is no objective corroboration of that.

You don't get to just say your BELIEFS are "facts" and expect people to accept it.

The Tanakh is being misinterpreted by leaders of Judaism not by Christianity. Christianity agrees with the Tanakh that is why it is part of the Holy Bible.
Jewish faith will not be here if it wasn't for their leaders. Judaism should have been the number one religion of the world by now but it is not because it is not about universality it is about themselves.

Mormon church is a great deceiver their leadership and founder understood very well what Christianity stand for and that is Christianity are followers of Christ they worship Christ and accept Christ is God.
Tell me, do Jesus christ of latter day saints worship Jesus Christ is God? You seem to think they do I thought you are agnostic?
I really think you will never be able to proof that Mormonism is Christianity without being deceitful.

Please do not take away or exclude the Old Testament.
The church have kept all records and it was because of their records keeping that made Christianity true.

But it does say, "And be sure to take on board enough food for your family and for all the animals."---Genesis 6:21 NLT

So that verse gives us a clue that there was indeed certain kinds of assorted plants and other vegetation used for food on board the Ark.

Well yes, but only after the 2nd try of sending the dove out did it return with a olive leaf in its beak. Scripture doesn't tell us that the dove was a female.

Just because the dove returned with an olive leaf it doesn't mean that Scripture is suggesting that the olive trees survived the flood. That wasn't the point of the olive leaf, the point was that the dove found dry land which indicated to Noah that the flood waters were almost gone. And besides I'm sure you could find plausible explanations regarding the olive leaf.

As for your baseless theory about the Ark should have been stuck in the mud, I suggest perhaps you should read the entire flood story thoroughly with more emphasis on Chapter 8 of the story before becoming a critic, Chapter 8 deals with the flood waters receding.

Nope, that would make God contradict Himself. God does not contradict Himself, therefore only one religion can be true, the others false.

On the contrary. Yours is a game of twisted logic using a corrupted syntax in grammar; whereas I merely capture the various meanings that can be applied to a statement through the definitions of terms. Afraid is only an illusion in your mind. Without you knowing me as a person, you have no knowledge of me or a fear that is conceivable for me to possess. Your little innuendo about fear is nothing more than an extension of your attempt to trap me in your tangled web of misuse of logic, and is subsequently an expression of your fallacy of ignorance of the subject matter.... the subject matter being me and any fear that could conceivably be in my character. Meet me face to face, in person, and see that there is no FEAR in me.

I am glad that you set those parameters on a voluntary basis.
Now go back to the quote you made of my words and show where I said that Giftedone is a 'non-theist'. You cannot make such a showing because that does not exist in those words which you quoted. I say, that you have simply misinterpreted what was stated and have attempted to apply your misinterpretation as a 'truth' statement allegedly belonging to me. Be a little more intellectually honest when making your assertions and inferences.

When you speak about Jesus, I assume you are talking about that flesh and blood man mentioned in the 'Bible'. If my assumption of that which you speak about is correct, then I can honestly say that Jesus (the flesh and blood man mentioned in the 'Bible') is not God. That 'flesh and blood man mentioned in the 'Bible' is merely a vehicle in which the Spirit of God was indwelling up to a few moments before the time that flesh and blood man died on the cross. Your apparent lack of comprehension of that spiritual fact is why I suggest that many on this forum have no ability of spiritual discernment.
