And you have resorted to insults because you can't refute my argument. Surveys are used to sell a result. There is a method for any result you want. They know that their audience is eager for every bite. Just like a baby in a highchair.

You are not presenting anything worth refuting because you have not, and will not, provide any type of evidence to support your pure, unadulterated bullshit of an argument.

Those who let their party do their thinking for them would never question a survey like this. Those of us who like to think for ourselves want to know the wording of the questions asked and the method used.

Interesting that they only spoke with people who claim to be a D or an R. Not a single independent thinker was represented in these results. Do independents, libertarians, etc. refuse to take surveys or were their answers omitted from the results?

I know its hard to question what you agree with.

Certainly there are a lot of incompetent government employees, but in my experience there are just as many incompetent employees in private industry. One has to remember the guy that writes Dilbert came from private industry. With respect to government employees getting real jobs, I retired as a GS-15 and got a 50K raise to work in private industry. I know two physicians who left private industry to work for the VA. Of course if one is an EEO specialist or the like if may be difficult to find a similar job in private industry.

Very little cleverness shown in that composition.

In a recent poll conducted by Harvard University, 80 percent of all voters say the United States needs a secure border — including 68 percent of Democrat Party voters. Meanwhile, 79 percent of voters polled by Harvard want immigration status to be conferred to those who have the “ability to contribute to America” (with 87 percent of Republicans and 72 percent of Democrats agreeing with that claim). Essentially, despite what the punditariat may claim, President Donald Trump is on the right side of one of the most pressing issues of our time.

This comes on the heels of another tragic story involving the murder of a police officer conducting a routine traffic stop in California at the hands of an illegal immigrant. One of the most striking differences between this tragedy and similar ones involving illegal immigrants murdering peace officers is the fact that the policeman in question was himself an immigrant. In this case, Corporal Ronil Singh of the Newman Police Department, a legal immigrant and proud father of a young, baby boy, was slain by an illegal immigrant known to law enforcement, who possessed a long record of criminal gang activity and other nefarious connections. Unfortunately, the Democrat Party’s sanctuary city policy in California prevented law enforcement from contacting the federal immigration authorities to begin deportation proceedings.

Corporal Singh would still be alive today — living the American Dream as so many of his friends and neighbors said of him — had it not been for Democrat Party orthodoxy. Corporal Singh is just the most recent in a long line of innocent Americans who have suffered because of the destructive immigration policies of the Democrat Party.

Holy **** man. Independents were absolutely included in the survey. You are most assuredly spouting utter bullshit now.

    Get better.

That's silly. Why would a poor person desperatly trying to earn a few shekels to support his family take the time to answer a phone survey.

    Thanks,

The Shutdown is a mutually self-destructive plan, one that Trump as you noted already stated he'd take that responsibility. So he will absolutely veto the bill. And the remaining Republicans who passed the House funding bill that the President will sign(the full funding) will not capitulate.
The only way this ends, is to pass the full-funding bill or the partial shutdown will last until January 2021.

(That, or get those Republicans to join in on the bipartisan agreement, but chances are heavily unlikely).

Yeah, trump's constituents want trump to stand up and fight hard for enhanced border security, i.e. a big barrier, a wall. And they know the democrats and even the establishment republicans don't want that new barrier. This is about constituents, sure, but those that benefit from illegal labor, and those that are too air headed to understand the essential nature of stopping over time a hundred million illegal aliens in america.

This issue is so important that trump best not cave, no matter how unhappy it makes some people.

I know it is weird, surreal even, to see a president trying to keep a campaign promise, and other promises that caused people to vote him into office. Not like a democrat ever does it, nor a republican, with the exception of trump. Hell, that this isn't at least respected by his detractors and haters says enough...to reasonable people.

Hopefully the anti border security people will fold, and compromise as I think trump is willing. The democrats could get some things from trump in regards to DACA and other things, by just tossing him more money for the wall. That they refuse to do it, is significant and carries great meaning, throwing light on what our reality actually is, as opposed to what MSM portrays it as.

There is a really serious problem with this polling.

The survey lacked a category for those applauding Trump for the shutdown.

    You just started the poll.

I don't give a damn about the shutdown.

    Put that in your statistics.

More will soon comment, I'm sure.

Given your money to that GoFundMe page for the wall?

I am ready to match it with money for that GoFundMe page for the ladders.

Money from that page can't be used for the wall.

You haven't really made an "argument".

    There's nothing to "refute".

Wake me up when you do. Thanks.

You'd still be doing more to build the wall than Trump has done in two years of unified party rule.

The shutdown was cause by liberals giving Trump a budget he cannot sign. I called my Republican Senator and Congressman and told their staff I will NEVER vote for another Republican if a wall does not get built. I suspect millions of others did as well. So we will see which side can last longer without feeding on the government teat.

Total BS. Trump's plan was always to cave. It was a rebellion by his base that led to the current impasse. Now all Trump has to do is demonstrate some resolve like Clinton and Obama did as Presidents and wait for Congress to fold.

Others acknowledged my very simple argument. This survey is misleading and does not represent those who have jobs and families. Those who are working, helping their kids with homework, of spending time with their spouse would never give up that precious time for a phone survey. What kind of person even answers unidentified calls?

I have to realize that I am talking with someone who has time for a nap in the middle of a work day.

Prove any of the bullshit that you are asserting. You claim to have studied the demographics of this polling data, prove that they are lazy or whatever bullshit you think explains their participation in the survey.
