What Trump fails to understand is that his leverage has disappeared.

Speaking of lazy, where is that link showing the data and questions associated with this survey you started a thread about.

    Thanks,

    Doof.

How so? A Presidential veto is pretty good leverage.

This is the best demographic information on the polling done that I could find in a couple of minutes. Now, if you want to prove any of your assertions (like independents were not interviewed or the only people to respond are lazy/jobless/etc.), it is your turn.

Not to get money for the wall.

In this instance, the only benefit from the use of a Presidential veto would be to further ensure that Americans continue to place most of the blame for the shutdown, for the loss of wages, the waste of taxpayer dollars, the landfills piling up in the national parks, etc. on Trump himself.

Selling this sort of headline depends on the reader taking the claim at face value without doing any research or thinking. I am still looking for the survey data. Your link is just the same article. Did you bother to research the wording of the questions before starting a thread about it?

It would be nice if all claims were presumed true until proven false. Thats not how it works.

Found your polling data for you: http://polling.reuters.com/#!response/TM144Y13B/type/smallest/dates/20181220-20190102/collapsed/true

Now feel free to ignore the actual data and continue espousing pure, unadulterated bullshit.

    Accurate poll? :roflol:

A survey from the Princeton Election Consortium has found that Hillary Clinton has a 99 per cent chance of winning the election over Donald Trump. Three days before the election, Ms Clinton has a projected 312 electoral votes, compared to 226 for Mr Trump.

Was this poll also not accurate?

Ignore it? I'm counting on it to be very, very accurate... :applause:

It's debatable. We'll never know the impact Comey and Putin had on the election. Even at that the majority of Americans didn't vote for trump which is the reason I said 'Accurate Poll' when someone said a poll showed over half of America wants trump impeached.

Don't make claims if you can't handle being challenged. What I am interested in is reading the actual questions that were asked to the fewer than 3K they/you claim represent nearly half of American adults.

What percentage of Americans refuse to answer unidentified calls?
Of those who take these calls, what percentage actually stay on the line and answer questions?

This is just another Schumer shut down and everyone knows it. Despite all the finger pointing and denials, Democrats know it to.

Schumer is a hypocrite and the worst sort of lawmaker. He should be in prison for his efforts to defraud the United States of America.

53% doesn't blame Trump that a majority that 53% blames others
this isn't misleading its a fact according to the posted poll
and I haven't looked it up yet but willing to bet its a slanted skewed poll over sampling democrats like the majority of polls do

    How so?

The gubmint is shut and the Dems love the gubmint.

I'd say Trump is in the catbird seat.

You are the one who made the allegations on the demographics without any justification or evidence in support. Now that you are presented with the data you have resorted to just asking questions for which you do not have the answer.

Like I said originally, you need a better argument because this one is horse ****.

Yea and the polls which showed Democrats would win the 2018 midterms by +7 "oversampled" them as well.

But no, you are being extremely simplistic if you think that the only reasonable conclusion from the 47% blame him the most means that 53% do not. In fact, when you get into the data, the other two significant vote getters are the Democrats in Congress at 32% and Republicans in Congress at 8%.

That leaves 13% who do not have an opinion or blame someone else the most. Even the people who blame Democrats in Congress the most are almost certainly going to agree that trump holds some blame for the shutdown.

After all, the man explicitly bragged about claiming ownership for the shutdown.

    LOL!

I'm sure Trump WOULD own the shutdown if it were needed.

It didn't happen that way. Democrats refused to compromise so they now own it.

At least you admit to starting a thread without doing any research. You have only posted articles. I will stop asking you for the link to the actual survey data showing the questions asked.

Your thread is false and misleading.

Then you take an extremely unpopular, simplistic, and ultimately self harming view of a shutdown.

You - as an American citizen - will spend more money, get less service, watch tens of thousands of fellow Americans suffer, and still not watch anything improve for trump in the next 24 hours when Democrats take control of the house.

Those Democrats were elected by a record setting margin by an extremely engaged electorate and they elected, in large part, because they opposed trump on the specific provision for which he is willing to punish everyone.

And the wall is still unpopular. And the shutdown is still unpopular. And Trump cant even blame anyone else, credibly, for the shutdown.
