Oh, okay so the second amendment is a right given by god and is therefore inalienable.

So convicted felons should not be stripped of that right? Including domestic abusers and people who have committed gun crimes?

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The state shouldn’t have the right to kill you, right?

 

The Declaration of Independence does not say “our creator“ it says “their creator”.

A reference to God is not intended to refence any specific god or religion. Rather, is in intended to refer to inherant rights that cannot be granted or revoked by a government.
