Hmmmm - you have never been taught how to do academic writing have you? When you teach and learn at that tertiary (university- masters degree) level you have to back every statement with a quote from another author/researcher and preferably a published research paper pertinent to your point. However at the level I was operating at and still operate at it is beholden upon me to critique those research papers to ensure the quality and what academics refer to as the “rigor” is of a high standard. I do not always post that way here because I know that my audience will not read the more “academic” papers so I match my quotations to my audience.

Given that your posts rarely indicate that you have read the material I am posting let alone review the source material I find your comments, well, not insightful in relation to this style of academia

It is my understanding from previous research that all DSD have variations in the genitals. I would have to look up my prior research again. In that same article you point out they clearly differentiate this condition from transgenders. So what are you trying to use this for?

 

Trans and the condition of the OP are not the same and aren’t even recognized as the same in the medical field.

 

Some do some don’t. While it is true that GENDER is not the same as SEX with gender mostly referring to a belief about what sex you are whilst sex itself has a physiological basis the variation we are seeing within intersex blurs that line.
