That is unacceptable to maintain a municipal and/or state run police force allowing visible tattoos while in uniform.
I wouldn't really have a problem with it... I mean, maybe a full sleeve or two, I could see giving that the sideeye, but, I mean, I have two tattoos that are visible in uniform, and they don't seem to impact my duties...
I know the policy... And, I should probably point out that my tattoos are only visible when I have my ABU top off, and they are only going down the inside of my forearms... I get your point about the professional image though...
Give them an inch, they take a mile. No full sleeve tattoos, should be allowed on a police force. They are tasked and entrusted with law enforcement and protecting the public...not walking, talking billboards and/or art galleries. You want to look like a circus freak...join the circus, not the Police Department. I'm not cracking down on you, clearly yours are within Air Force regs...and I have no doubt Irishman is a fine gentlemen, I'm not making this personal if at all possible.
Well, I've always had the reg in mind when I got a tat... Few things would be worse than getting one and having to remove it at my own expense because I knew better...
The police get more respect when they have visible tattoos because all thugs have tattoos and they fit in more and could maintain a friendship for leads and information of crimes so maybe not military but it should be required for the police force.
I think you are a degenerate if you are wearing a police uniform. You have to be a bad person to be a cop.
Love tattoos. I have two small ones on my upper arms. I've had a "3/4 sleeve fund" going for about 3 years, but I constantly dip into it, so who knows when I'll get there. Girls with a lot well done tattoos are sexy in my opinion. Teddy Roosevelt had a chest piece.
Getting a Tattoo isn't at all the same as just Don't Do Drugs. Or just don't Smoke.Don't get drunk.Those are all things that wear off in hours.A Tattoo doesn't wear off.It's Permanent.Meant to be permanent. It's comparable to an Abortion or shooting someone or robbing a Bank. It's there forever.Unless someone chooses to have it removed with another Tattoo. It's just a juvenile tendency that has gained traction because we now live in a Society where acting childish is rewarded.This is so Sick. Did Charles Bukowski,a real Radical Prose writer and world-class drinker feel the need to have a Tattoo. Or Ernest Hemingway another world-class drinker. Or how about my Hero Jack London. Society is now beset by such pansy,knuckleheaded peer pressure it is Unbegotten. If any y'all care to look up the word.
I dunno.Maybe if somone could invent Invisible Tattoo.Like they only appear when you blow a high enough alcohol content on.Like a Breatholizer. yeah ... yeah .... That's the ticket. I mean ... Tattoo !
" Words are,of course,the most powerful drug used by mankind. " -- Rudyard Kipling Maybe that oughta shut yuz up fir the time bein'z.
Dude, you need to dial the intake of Schedule 1 controlled substances back a notch. The word salad is getting more random with everypost.
“Show me a man with a tattoo and I'll show you a man with an interesting past.” ― Jack London More than one writer has drunk himself to death, but I doubt any human being has tattooed himself into the grave.
I beg to differ.I could easily become befuddled just lookin' at the way some plaster Tattoo all over their Body. [ Max Cady bares his heavily tattooed body ] " I don't know whether to look at him or read him. " -- Lt.Elgart { Robert Mitchum }
Well obviously it was a problem for the guy { Robert Mitchum } hired to keep tabs on the rascal Max Cady. How about : BORN to Raise HELL -- Richard Speck
Misguided would be a better word for it. Many become police officers because they believe that they are helping people, but, really, they are serving the political class and harming innocent people by putting them into cages for victimless actions. Then, of course, there are the fair number of people who become cops for either the paycheck or so they can bully others. Peacekeeping as a profession is long gone. Nationalizing the role ensured that it would be corrupted. Today, cops are bullies for the state whether that's what they intended to be or not.
