In my opinion, every able bodied citizen should be required to do public service as a prerequisite of becoming an eligible voter. That could include the military, the peace corps, a policeman or fireman, or any one of a number of capacities available. Compulsory service is an honorable estate and would help our young people understand the values of our freedoms and liberties.

Well, to answer your question I'm the guy who pays your salary and buys your tanks and cruise missiles. In the last 30 years I and my companies are responsible for sending the gubmint approximately 20-40 million dollars in personal, corporate, sales, witholding, inventory and other related taxes.

No bucks, no buck rogers.

Pretty disgusting and why many in the military come back after spending multiple tours in Iraq & Afghanistan in remorse with their injuries, and seeing their sacrifices as but in vain......thk you for your appreciation of the troops! I grew up during the 60's and 70's and I can tell you without the least bit of cynisim that I have never seen so much support, appreciation and gratitude for the military and it's members sacrifices as I see today.

So I don't know what fight you believe you are fighting, but I suggest you see a psychologist because it is eating you up inside and it has nothing to do with reality.
