The Left's SOLUTION was to panic and then shut down the nation's economy FOR political reasons.

No I don't. That's the beauty of it. I don't have to buy into the Left's determination to create a nation wide panic and shut down the economy. It's the only hope that senile Biden has. The left convinced the nation to crash the economy and hope to pull off blaming it on Trump. It's not going to work.

Why do you think Trump is unable to see the truth that you are so perfectly capable of knowing?

So you have absolutely zero capacity or willingness to back up your claim that Covid-19 is like the seasonal flu.

    ****ing useless.

    Prove it.

Here, I'll help you find the CDC website that shows the most Influenza related deaths from a single year of the past 10 years was 61,000 in 2017-2018 (hint: trump was the president then, not Obama).

I don't have to prove a given and the given is that the left deliberately paniced the nation over this for political reasons.

I was not asking you to prove that bit of ****ing idiotic conspiracy bullshit, I was asking you to prove that Covid-19 is like the seasonal flu by finding me a single comparable month or week or day in terms of deaths.

It depends on the intervals you put on the y axis. If the vertical axis has intervals of 10,000, the graph will look flatter over time than if you put intervals of 500 or even 1000. But if we are up 20,000 one year, then down 30,000 the next, etc., no reasonable graph is going to look "flat." I suppose if you graph out the percentage of the entire population that dies from flu over a long period of time, that graph will look flat. Hopefully the CDC looks at the stats more critically than that.

Is "victim status" just the phrase you throw out as a magic word thinking it means you can avoid all facts? Time already has told.

If you dare suggest that someone else might die from a lethal virus then it is "victim status'" because people don't understand what those words actually mean and can't bear to confront reality.

This is soooooo freaking stupid. Ask the hospital workers if this is overblown.

They are having to bring in refrigeration trucks to hold all of the dead bodies. And even with the entire country in a virtual lock down. we still have over 44,000 dead in less than two months.

    I swear to god...

Low mortality rate considering how many are infected. It's not rocket science, despite the collective left's assumption to the contrary. But if panic gets them through the day, more power to them. Just don't try controlling my life because they lost their cool or destroy my nation's economy for political reasons.

Dont endanger the lives of folks like my elderly mother simply because you are desperate to revive the only semi-defensible reason for supporting that ****ing whiny bitch of a corrupt lying moron named Donald trump.

Number dead vs the number of known infections is currently 5% in the US.

If I or my wife contract the Corona Virus at our ages and existing health problems it might very well be our death sentence, but I am still not going to exist like a trembling coward; and certainly not insist that the rest of the nation goes down with us. Meh . . . but to each their own.

If we already had a large percentage of the population infected but symptom free, we wouldn't see the huge infection rates in clusters.

In Washington, one church choir of 60 people had one infected person show up back around the first of March. Of the 60, 40 became ill and 2 died; the last report I heard. Again, that is a 5% mortality rate. If we assume everyone was exposed, it is a 3% mortality rate for that group.

If 80% of the population was already exposed, you wouldn't have 66% of people exposed getting sick.

To the extent that you have any children or grandchildren, ask them if they would rather have a very slightly more robust economy or you.

Then don't act like a trembling coward. Face the facts and deal with them instead of complaining and looking for cheesy arguments,

As the elder I'd rather them have secure economic futures. An economic depression is nothing that anyone should ever have to live through. Thinking about the economic future is something that this entire nation had better get busy worrying about.
