DOJ and others are hammering the Jan 6 defendants with what can only be described as cruel and u usual punishment of those that aren't even yet convicted. Some have been locked up without bail for months on minor misdemeanor charges.

George Floyd protesters demanded an end to the unjustified lethal racial violence demonstrated by police in that city and all over our nation.

These Jan6 insurgents had the stated objective of overturning our democracy and killing our VP by means of armed assault.

There was a lot of violence in late 2016 through to Jan 20, 2017.

 

So what? The Jan 6 rioters demanded an accurate count of legally elected electors. Both regardless of thier issues being right or wrong engaged in illegal acts. The George Floyd lasted two years causing BILLIONS in damages in attacks on local and federal buildings and personnel throughout the country.

Did it ever occur to you that those at the Jan 6 protest had witnessed the effectiveness of the BLM/Antifa protest and decided if it worked for those protesters it could work for them?

NONE of them have come anywhere close to supporting Trump's public claims of being robbed.

In fact, the Jan 6 committee has testimony that TRUMP didn't believe he was robbed - just that there would be partisan benefit in such LIES.

There is TEXAS where Republicans actually declare that the election was stolen even though it has been shown over and over again that it absolutely was not.

What we are seeing is a CONTINUING assault on democracy.

Republicans are using the lies about the last election in their efforts to defeat democracy in areas such that aren't supportive of Republican dogma.

 

Imagine supporting that a failed impeached president is attempting to bribe people with presidential pardons if they can get him reelected after his previous attempt to bypass the will of the voters failed and honestly believing anything you are saying or doing is patriotic.
