I never said, hinted, or implied that questioning is anywhere near cruel and unusual. However, locking someone up with no bail for months on a trespassing or some such charge certainly gets pretty close.

 

An extremely self serving generation for the most part, they won't go easy or quietly because if always the other guy's fault.

 

It has not been shown or proven that there was no election theft. In any case one cannot prove a negative. Secondly AFAIK no court ruled or said that there was no election theft. All but one court pretty much hid behind the three monkey defense or the Sgt. Schultz excuse and didn't say anything.

 

First of all there was no insurgency or insurrection to overthrow our constitutional republic and no one I know would ever support such a thing. And the present regime does have totalitarian instincts in dealing with its domestic opposition that the courts and the filibuster have been able to restrain in some cases.

You shouldn't just guess why they are being held without bail.

These individuals are suspected of roles in the serious assault on our form of government.

Also, it's not just the charge that determines bail. Some could have other issues affecting bail - such as being flight risks, being a danger, possibility of affects on evidence by collusion with other perpetrators, etc.

 

The violent overthrow of our election process for our highest office and the murder of VP Pence and (according to the stated objective of some) Speaker of the House Pelosi is EXACTLY an overthrow of our democracy.

The problem with your view of our government is that you think that in a democracy, everyone should follow YOUR ideas, and if they don't, then you want to claim America must be heading for evil.

Did the MSM miss the part where they fought with and overpowered police, broke and entered the building, invaded the chambers, riffled through desks and made a giant mess, stole laptops, nameplates and other things, etc? Did the MSM fail to report an actual insurrection attempt by extremists on that occasion?

I would kinda "get" it if he was subtle or stealth but he says it aloud and they gloss over it or rationalize it and point fingers elsewhere.
