Thanks, Iriemon, for pointing out dozens of fools who think the national economy 'belongs' to a president... that a president (God forbid) owns an economy!

The economy be free! No one owns it! Fly, freedom, fly!

We will see what the numbers look like in the following months. But it is a good sign though. The further and further we get away from the big governments involvement in the markets, the better the employment rates get. I would still like to see the TRUE numbers of the people that aren't retired and still dont have a job and what that would correlate to as a % of empolyment.

    Want some bigger blinders?

I find ammusing that immediatly after the 2003 tax cuts, the economy took off. But that wasn't because of the Tax cuts. But 2 years after dismal economy and no tax cuts, the employment is slightly getting better, mainly due to people not being counted anyone cause they stopped looking for jobs, Obama is supposed to be the savior. Oh well, the same old same old politics.

The party of no wishes you a great weekend too and hopes you are enjoying the seemingly lower unemployment rate due to their efforts to stop Obama's agenda ;-)

Blah blah blah...your economy is gonna continue to get better...and you will still be belligerent enough to try to debunk it.
And when the election happens...and the economy has recovered continuously...GUESS WHO'S GONNA WIN?

    The party of NO?
Or the party of Yes we can, with or without you.

Those tax cuts were irrelevant at the time of the collapse and had nothing to do with inflating home prices. By 2007, the tax cuts ran their course of allowing businesses to hire extra workers by allowing them to keep more revenue, and the amount paid in taxes had become the "norm". Look how tough it is to give up the payroll tax cuts and they have only been in effect for 1 year.

The TEMPORARY tax cuts are things people can't handle due to the budgets that are created around the income people have.

The housing bubble popped when the economy that was full of the MEGA huge SUV trend got hit by the soaring gas prices and people had to choose between gas or their mortgauge cause most people live paycheck to paycheck.
