To me it is more logical to use say the reproductive gene from one of those worms to grow more delicious corn. That is progress. Maybe even genetically alter those worms so they eat dirt and sh!t fertilizer just like little earthworms do....

Christ, those organic kooks know no shame when it comes to attacking anything that doesn't carry their special little label and inflated price. They spread all sorts of misinformation.

I'd like to know what dangers they think are inherent to GM vegetables, for instance. Looks like pure fear mongering to me. Even those "super bugs" supposedly present in our meat can still be cooked out. I've eaten a damned lot of burger in my time, both home cooked and from restaurants. I've also had quite a bit of ground turkey, as it's a healthier alternative to that red meat, or so I'm told. Nary a problem have I had from any of it! Same with eggs.

It's all just ignorant, fearful bunk.

Yes and bolstered by fake 'made as instructed' faux science papers meant to inject fear of GMO into the ignorant portion of the public. Meanwhile the real threat of E-Coli contamination of so-called 'organic' food is very real. I wouldn't buy ANY vegetables sitting next to 'organic' foods in grocery store displays. Also it's a very bad idea to buy anything 'organic' sealed in a bag. The Spinach contamination proved that E-Coli can enter into the plant cells so washing your veggies is useless.

Predictably you chose to ignore one example. Acknowledge the first example... discredit it and we will move on to the next one.

What example? You have not offered any specific example of anyone getting sick from GMO food.

Using a meme from a movie and a quote from a protestor (in 1964) speaking on the steps of Sproul Hall (about the UC Berkeley regents and the BOD at the time ) is not an example of a person dying from consuming GMO food.

It is, however, an example of a person desperately clawing for relevance in a debate they are decidedly losing.

The quote is my sig .... if you look deeper.. you will see that the quote is in a unique font and is in every post I have made here ( come on man.. your not that dumb are you?)... The meme was to try to get you to search for the example I gave about contaminated meat ... since you did address that issue I am going to help you out here, I gave an example of contaminated corporate-factory style meat being bad for people ( post # 64)

Who specifically has suffered from GMO? Who died? I have provided LINKS to examples where numerous people who have gotten sick and even died from so-called 'organic' food contaminated with E-Coli.

    OK...It's still a dumb quote...LOL

Why should I 'search' for examples to prove your point? Remember I asked YOU for just one example to support your POV that GMO is bad. Your post (#64) contains no evidence of anyone specifically getting ill or dying from GMO. In fact is says that hormonal content cannot be accurately identified as GMO or natural. It does, however, attempt to weave a thread of suspicion to create some kind of web of conspiracy for which there is no real proof.

Who specifically has suffered from GMO? Who died? I have provided LINKS to examples where numerous people who have gotten sick and even died from so-called 'organic' food contaminated with E-Coli.

Contrary to what you may have learned, insults are no substitute for actual proof of what one claims. Now...Where is that example...Huh?

Research? no but you really need to ask yourself Jack, how many hundreds of tons of hamburger and chicken are eaten each and every day in the U.S. -- and then check and see how few are made ill by it. Do your own research.

Even super bugs are killed by heat.

Try cooking your food before you eat it. IMHO it taste better too.

Unlike most of Kim Jung Un's citizens, we can actually afford fuel to cook our food, so on balance, we good....

I have always spoken against antibiotics in animal feed.

An animal should only be fed antibiotics when it is sick.

A lot of States are cracking down on the use of medicated feed. And that is good.

But...it is a lot better to eat a healthy animal than one that is sick. Even if they have been saved by antibiotics.

Stay away from Tilapia from China.
