I'm sure the defenders of monarchy thought that would exist forever, too.

It is exactly the same as food insurance, i.e. insurance on something that person needs every day.

So, I can only assume you endorse murder of hundreds of thousands of other wise peaceful peoples.

Most people don't need healthcare everyday. I haven't been to a doctor in over a decade.

And unlike food, the provision of healthcare often requires high degrees of sophistication and organization.

Performing brain surgery on someone who just got in a car accident is far more difficult and therefore expensive than selling them a loaf of bread. I would have thought that rather obvious.

It never occurs to them that a person shouldn't have to choose between being extorted and leaving their home.

No. But this is an old thread. I thought we were done with the stupid questions and moved on to the part where we made points. Did you have one? Or are you sticking with the dumb question phase. Turned out nobody else on the right had a point so... Are you going to "surprise" me? Can hardly wait....

The point has been made. You just don't realize it.

Yeah. The best point that you can make is the one that you don't have. It's the only way you don't risk it being rebutted.

Yes, it was exactly the system that everyone supported for thousands of years. Only recently, after numerous revolutions, the democracy have started taking shape.

Not necessary every day, but couple of times a year would not hurt, you do not need it every day to consume, but it has to be available every day though, without conditions. If you do not go to the doctor you are taking risk to get a serious disease in future.
Current private insurance system is just a killing machine, they wait until patient get sick then drop that patient from the insurance as not profitable.

    It is a false choice.

It is my property- I earned it with the fruits of my labor. I should be able to live on my property peacefully without the extortion of taxation.

Making other people pay for your healthcare isn't a proper right.

Something can't be a "right" if it requires violating another's rights.

Nobody said it was "the way" to do anything. There are many ways to peacefully abolish taxation. Spreading the idea on a political forum is only one of those ways. Did that really need to be explained?

YOU replied to my post which was about using a message board to spread the word about abolishing taxation. Did that really need to be explained?

It may not help the comparatively small number of extant people today, but the line has to be drawn somewhere. Your problem is that you expect change without pain. With respect, that's infantile.

Meantime, do 'people on the right' think what you think they think? I don't know. You'd have to ask them.

Yes, I replied to your strawman argument. The next logical step would be for you to acknowledge your strawman, withdraw it, and make a comment that actually applies to reality. But something tells me that's not going to happen.

Well then I have no idea why you are asking me what would Jesus do.

You might as well quote something from the Talmud, since that would be as irrelevant as anything else from organized religions.
