While We Were Still Enemies, Jesus Died for Us

Fortunately for humanity, all of what I wrote is true and is the good news for all mankind. Unfortunately some will not accept it.

 

No one cares about posts being deleted. Posts promoting the deaths of abortion providers, Muslims, atheists and Democrats is another matter.

 

"Our condition", IS children of God. Only human arrogance can pit a loving God against his beloved children.

Fortunately for ALL humanity they have a Father in Heaven that loves them and would never stoop to the level of RW evanglists that believe he hates them ... any of them or is somehow at war with them.

 

Jesus did die to save all humanity. That is beyond doubt. It is His gift to save a fallen world. No one can be saved except through that act. People who lived before the cross but not in Israel will be saved by that act if they were living according to the best light shown to them in their lives. The same is true of people all over the world since then who never knew of Christianity. If in their environment they lived according to the best light they as individuals were shown by God they to will be saved by His act. That is the truth of His statement that none can be saved or see the father except through Him. People all over the world and all through time until the last days will be in Heaven. It is when one is following a lesser light or no light at all and is exposed to greater light/ truth and reject it, that one takes themselves out of hope to be saved. It is the truth that no one who has heard of Jesus and His life and what He did to save all of us and rejects Him and what he did will have any chance of being in Heaven. After all why would anyone want to spend all eternity with a God they spent their lives denying He exists or hating him, blaming Him for causing all the ills the world is suffering, and with the same people they have been ridiculing and mocking their entire lives for what they/ we believe. The whole point of the article is that He died for all and that we should hold out hope that our enemies whoever they may be for whatever reason might also believe and be saved.

 

It promotes no such thing. It isn’t talking about us killing anyone at all. The exact opposite is true. It’s about holding out hope and reaching out to people in the hope of converting them to believe by faith and be saved. The death being talked about is not now and is one that all humanity deserved before the Cross and now can be avoided, the permanent 2nd death.

 

I most certainly did. And so did you. Not surprised that you would run from them.

Sin is rebellion against the law of God. All of us are sinners and deserve the wages of sin. Jesus paid those wages for all mankind that accepts it and is saved by Grace through faith. God is at war with Satan who rebelled against His law. All humanity is part of this struggle. There is no neutral side here. All will end up with God forever or with Satan forever. That is the free will choice of every human being.

That’s one of the illogical things about Christianity. Allegedly, he created us and by nature we are sinners. If we are sinful by nature it is not a choice, it’s something imposed upon us by our creator. Expecting a creature to go against its nature is cruel and irrational. Offering it an illogical way out in a way that strokes His ego isn’t much better.

probably what happened is someone started a part 2 of the Jewish religion, and eventual that split off into what we now know as the Christian and Muslim religions, and of course there is the Mormon split off too

It is unconditional for all who believe by faith and accept this grace. A relationship with God is one where people do things to please God because we love Him not because we have to do things to earn salvation or be saved. People who side with Satan over Jesus and deny God exists or hate Him for the conditions on the earth now will not Ne unconditionally saved. Salvation is very much conditional for every single human being. All are allowed to and can choose it, many will choose against it.
