Yes, but Jewish population went down close to zero after the Albanians took over there. They drove out Bosnian Muslims, too. Why do you side with them? They don't like you guys there at all, they are not your allies.

What genocide? How many Albanians died? I mean, without counting Albanian terrorists and those, who got killed by NATO bombs? There were ten years of civil war and they found like a few hundred dead guys there.

Ottomans never 'hated' Albanians, but they try to, for unknown reason, justify the fact that most of them converted to Islam.
Mehmed-pasa Sokolovic was an ethnic Serb from what I know :). He was taken as a boy to serve as Janissary and converted to Islam, but based on some historical data, he was a very capable and wise (rose from Janissary to the position of Grand Vizier) .
    Interesting part of his bio:

Instead of question, you should start debating. I believe many are waiting for you to present facts, sources etc. not only empty words.

Rofl my bad, there is no reason of someone with -ic being Hungarian either, for a moment I confused his origins with some other guy that was born in Kolozsvár, not sure what his name was but he also was many things but not a grand vizier :p

well i would say that you have no idea about the whole 'genocide in kosovo' thing, and i would even ask: is there any non-fictional proof that whole 'genocide in kosovo thing' is actually fictional?! :)

I went over all of your links (some even unrelated to Kosovo) and can't find anything which would support your claim. Do tell, why did you gave me this links?

It's simple as it can be and facts are facts, you can't omit it to serve your agenda.

'And at least initially, the KLA that acted with a greater violence than had Milosevic's forces, a point conceded by British defense secretary George Robertson during parliamentary testimony:'Up until (January 1999) the KLA were responsible for more deaths in Kosovo than the Yugoslav authorities had been.'

you can't see anything obviously since those articles are supposed to be bought in order to be read entirely :w00zy: KLA acted with greater violence than milosevic's forces is pretty much obvious if we take time period from 1999 to 2002, otherwise Kosovo would be divided into 2 parts-so called serbian north and rest of it would be albanian; now i do not deny that there has been serbian victims (civilians), but it would not happen if XYZ person (read: unknown hick) Milosevic didn't show up telling a stupid fairytale, in front of other illiterate hicks who decided to believe in it, about event (where serb lost the war) and reversed the story in order to raise the tension between two ethnic groups.
on the other hand, you are pointing out on 3 years (99-02)-when official war was on. From 80's, serbian officials have been terrorizing albanian and other non serb population in many ways which is been also proven to be truth (now i don't realy care if you are going to deny that,it is your problem) but taking into account greater picture: you are pretty much happy to be alive and as a nation, you have least number of human lives that have been lost and i can't understand one thing: instead of being grateful (to God,or whatever you believe into)-you actually keep pointing out on other nations and pretend to be "martyrs". Dude, you started all wars, you made slovenia, croatia, bosnia and macedonia to sheer of - be responsible once n your lifetime and shut the hell up when it comes to the rights because you have no rights to do whatever you do now!

It didn't take much to make these useless Bosnian Muslims go to war. They may have not been as bad as their Albanian Mafia buddies, but they are not in a position to complain about Serbs, for sure.

Sorry for interfering but must agree with you regarding the so-called 'hatred' of Ottomans against Albanians which is not completely true. But, on the other hand there was a period during Skenderbeg rule in Albania and his fighting against Ottomans which resulted in accumulated anger and revenge after his death(followed by forced conversion of Albanians in Islam) and migration of many Christian Albanians fleeing to neighboring Italy and other countries fearing from consequences and punishments which followed after.

In fact, as some of the members have posted links here, there(Ottoman Empire) were a great number of Turkish Grand Viziers from Albanian origin.

There are even claims that Ataturk thought to be of Albanian origin. Who knows !?!

But one thing for sure , Ali Sami Yen is an albanian i- the founder of Galatasaray Sport Club -As founder and first president of Galatasaray SK, Ali Sami Yen gave his name to Galatasaray's stadium. With a capacity of 25,000 seats, the Ali Sami Yen Stadium is situated in the center of Istanbul, in Mecidiyeköy.
