I don't think these terms are recognizable anymore. The people who left the Republican establishment for Trump will continue to call themselves conservatives, but they are definitely anti-globalism. They know globalism cost them their jobs and upward mobility.

its really hard to trust him to end this globalization since he benefited both socially and financially from it, but money does speak louder than words and he is not accepting a penny from the rich to fund his presidential campaign.

 

The problem with globalization the entire world has to be playing on a level playing field.

Now it's very unlikely that Laos, China, Nigeria, Mexico, Yemen, Somalia and Armenia, etc. will be playing on a level playing field with the USA, Germany, Japan and the UK when it comes to the quality of life, living conditions, wealth, work ethics, education, work skills, wages, personal freedoms, etc.

So globalizations requires that the developed world to bring their standards down to the level of the rest of the world. Basically this is done by outsourcing and immigration and political correctness that leads to diversity and the balkanization of America, UK, Germany, etc.

 

Melania never talks. Has anyone else noticed that? I think she is way overrated too. Too plastic looking and her face, well, it kind of looks masculine, IMO. She's always squinting too. What's up with that?

 

Well, I guess compared to Billary or Elizabeth Warren, Melania is a knockout. Still, I wonder what a woman like that does all day long? She doesn't work I assume. I would be willing to bet she's not doing housework and probably has a nanny too. Probably wicked lazy. Lol.

 

Didn't read thread. I called the travel agent and tried to buy a ticket to go get me some of them globalization women. She told me that I can't go get any of them until globalization comes in, so I guess I'll just have to wait.

I think most men aren't threatened by women who work. I know some wealthy guys who don't want their wives to work, because they don't have to and I see their wives playing tennis in the mornings, going to the salon and doing long lunches with their friends who are in similar situations. They don't appear to be unhappy but they still get divorced just as often everyone else. They could easily be sleeping with the tennis coach😜

Seeing as you're not one of these rabid 3rd wave feminists and not a hideous looking beast, this doesn't necessaily apply to you; but most of these angry, bitter, feminists are people who hate the world because they hate themselves. They are lonely, angry, and want to lower the bar.

Why do you think there is such a push for fat acceptance in the feminist community ? It's because most of them are fat and lazy and refuse to work hard. They hate on attractive women (a biological trait in all women). There is also now this idiotic notion that one can celebrate Mother's Day if they have a pet (fur-baby). This, again, is lowering the bar and hating on women who actually gave birth to kids and are in a loving family. Feminism is not for intelligent, confident, attactive, or quality women.

I never said that there weren't extremists or that I considered myself a feminist. Do I have to be labelled a feminist because I want women to be treated the same, in terms of work, pay and relationships? I want to be in a relationship where I am a partner, not a pet. There are some people who are just special. Two of the special people were women who came along at the wrong point in my life. The 1st was a 17 year old farm girl the summer of 68 when the draft took me to Vietnam. She was a beautiful, dark haired farm girl, a little overweight but just as beautiful inside as out.

The 2nd came along after I came home from VN with a bad adrenaline withdrawal along with anger issues that ended in me returning to 2 years reenlisted and sent back to my former unit in Nam. My unit, the 1st Air Cav, was just winding down the invasion into Cambodia and I was re-assigned to an administration company in Bien Hoa.

That's where I met the 2nd most special 18 year old women at age 21 in my life to date and I'm now just 3.5 months shy of 67 years.
She was also beautiful inside and out and not a bitter person even thou she had lost both of her brothers along with her father in the war.
I was 4 months from ending my 2nd tour when we met and the army allowed me to extend 2 times for 6 months each but my 3 extension didn't get approved.
My girl would not leave her mother and I couldn't stay in Vietnam. There's not a day I don't think of her...and the other one, the farm girl...
It's not a foreign, domestic or even a cultural thing, some people or just special and most aren't.
