Why hasn't the left gone all frothing mad about the School Shooting in Perry Iowa?

Maybe I am. You should probably enlighten me on the 'blast effects' of a 12guage shotgun at short range vs a 5.56NATO or .223REM.

We are not other countries. How's that illegal drug use going for those other countries?

The United States is a completely sovereign Nation and just because some other country does something doesn't necessarily mean it's a great idea or that we're obligated to imitate them.

Other countries can handle their own affairs and we will handle ours

It's amazing how people who are so ignorant to firearms think a 223 round is some sort of magical bullet imbued with certain special powers unique to that caliber.

But that's the thing about ignorance, when people are ignorant you can tell them whatever sort of BS you want to especially if there's a confirmation bias at which point all critical thinking goes completely out the window

Speaking of forks and facts.... Did you know that forks don't make people fat and keyboards are not responsible for typos anymore than guns kill people?

Guns are inanimate objects and they don't do a thing at all until someone picks them up and uses them. What other tools do liberals want to blame when people misuse them?

Do they blame cars for accidents or do they blame the person driving?
Help me understand here how a machine is responsible for operator error or intentional misuse.

Anyone know why he was bullied? Why did the school not intervene?

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ylan-butler-iowa-school-shooter-b2473926.html

"The 17-year-old had been the target of bullying since his very early years, and the bullying had recently engulfed his sister in the leadup to his violent rampage at his rural Iowa high school, according to his classmates."

"Sisters Yesenia Roeder and Khamya Hall, both 17, said that Butler had been bullied relentlessly since elementary school."

"They added that the bullying had escalated recently, when his younger sister started getting picked on, too. Officials at the school didn’t intervene, they said, and that was “the last straw” for the shooter."

ARs are SEMI-automatic - their "rate of fire" is purely under the control of the shooter. "Blast effect"? From how far away?

I don't doubt it. Guns are dangerous.

Here's some objectivity on the subject.

    Here's an 'AR'...

    and Here's a 12ga (shotgun)...

    Which one is 'worse'?

wait... so you ask if its based on 'reason', I tell you 'its not, its based on emotion', and you 'refute' with an 'appeal to emotion' piece instead of 'rattling off numbers'?

Are you trying to prove my point, or yours?

Yeah...sorry, your "excuse" doesn't pass the smell test. For instance, name me one single time that the NRA has ever advocated violence against another human. You can't. Because it doesn't happen. Its all a concoction of your mind.

But it didn't stop the violence did it? In fact since gun bans didn't stop the violence there are countries that are now targeting knives as the cause of violence.

In other words its not the objects that are the cause of violence. They're just an easy focus point for useful idiots.

You can't even have a knife over 3 inch blade length or maybe it's overall length in the UK.

If liberals have it their way we'll keep giving up our rights bit by bit until our government rules over us like little children and tells us we can't have sharp pointy objects

or here in the usa in many republican states if you put it in your pocket - I do think most States have raised it to 5 inches now, but used to be around 3

it's why most people wore Leatherman on belts vs putting in bags

Feel free to prove your claim. You said "many" so that means at least 4 you'll have to list the laws on such.
