This thread title will NEVER get old....

    New lawsuit today

    SNIP
Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, the two Georgia election workers who won a nearly $150 million verdict against Rudy Giuliani for defamation on Friday, have sued him again, asking a federal judge to permanently prohibit him from lying about them.

The lawsuit comes as Giuliani has continued to make false statements about their work as absentee ballot counters in the 2020 election.

“Defendant Giuliani continues to spread the very same lies for which he has already been held liable,” the new lawsuit said. “Defendant Giuliani’s statements, coupled with his refusal to agree to refrain from continuing to make such statements, make clear that he intends to persist in his campaign of targeted defamation and harassment. It must stop.”

Other than ordering his summary execution, I'm not really sure what a judge can do to stop this pathological liar...

    Who has a plan?

Why is Giuliani agreeing to 146 million if he's going to appeal the verdict?
Two million was deducted due to Freeman/Moss having settled with OANN, Giuliani was somehow part of that defamation suit along with the CEO and a few others.
Could it be that Giulianis part of the settlement was 2 million or they settled the whole lawsuit for 2 million?
Or none of the above? lol

    snip

'Final judgment is for $146 million plus attorneys’ fees

'In a separate court filing Monday, attorneys on both sides agreed on final numbers and terms now that the jury has weighed in.

Giuliani agreed the court’s final judgment would make clear he owes the women $146 million, plus more than $237,000 for attorneys’ fees. The jury verdict has been slightly reduced because Moss and Freeman previously settled another part of their lawsuit, against One America News Network and others.

    snip:

The judge, Beryl Howell of the DC District Court, signed off on the terms of the final judgment Monday evening.

The clock is likely to start soon for when the women may begin collecting what Giuliani owes them for their emotional distress, reputational harm and as punishment.

Moss and Freeman’s attorneys have told the court they would like to try to collect money and claim his assets as soon as possible, and not wait for a 30-day delay that is automatic in cases like these. Giuliani said he wants to keep the 30-day delay, but Howell hasn’t weighed in yet on that timing.

“We are going to work very, very hard to ensure that they see every bit of money that Mr. Giuliani has available to him to pay and satisfy this judgment,” John Langford, one of Moss and Freeman’s attorneys, told CNN’s Erin Burnett after the verdict.

“Getting a final judgment entered is the document you need to go to other jurisdictions where Mr. Giuliani has assets, New York, Florida, and … attach the judgment to his assets,” Langford added.

I would think that the consensus would be that Giuliani has moved whatever assets he had out of his name by now?
He's had lots of time knowing this was coming.
If he did do that is there a legal remedy for Freeman/Moss?

He just does not get it. does he?? We all know the basic definition of "insanity"...... and they seem to fit. (Repeating the same behavior over and over again, but expecting different results)
an aside but he and Trump do have a LOT in common. He may have been that important mayor at onetime........but perhaps we saw him with jaundiced glasses.......in a time of shock and despair. Hero worship gone amuck.

Andrew Kirtzman who just wrote the book about Giuliani's rise and tragic fall said on an interview after the verdict that Giuliani's ex -wife Judith had said that the key to Giuliani is that he HAS TO be relevant.
That makes so much sense why he can't stop/help himself and continues with his asinine bullshit when it's all been disproved.
This is what keeps his radio show going and making headlines, if he went back on all his lies about election fraud and Freeman/Moss he'd lose the only attention he gets which is from some Trump devotees.
He'd also lose whatever crumbs Trump throws his way should he change his colors.

The only thing that comes to mind is the gag order threat after being warned big time.
Since there is documentation of violence directed at Freeman/Moss due to Giuliani and ilk's lies about them maybe the judge has legal ground to impose one?
Other than that do what E J Carroll did, sue him again?

I'm curious how he pays Joe Sibley/firm?

Rudy Giuliani's mind has been completely pickled with cheap Merlot.... no way he can, or will, follow a gag order..... and it's insufficient anyway.

The law is inequipped to deal with this level of willful ignorance...

Rudy Giuliani has been mocking the Georgia poll workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea "Shaye: Moss so much that it hurts. We know Freeman and Moss are suing Giuliana again and going through with it hoping to put Giuliani in his place. Giuliani has lied and he's lie again, and it tells me that Giuliani cannot be trusted at all and won't be trusted ever again. That's all I'm going to say for now.

Rudy Giuliani was buried Tuesday as he hit out at the two women who filed a second defamation case against him just days after a court ordered him to pay them damages of $148 million.

The former mayor of New York and ex-Donald Trump attorney was sued for a second time Monday by Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman, who asked the court for "injunctive relief to permanently bar Defendant Rudolph W. Giuliani from persisting in his defamatory campaign."

Giuliani ought to shrivel up and melt away to oblivian

Here's another defamation case proceeding, with an equally horrible defendant

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/defamation-case-against-kari-lake-165746568.html

Don't know what he's asking, but if he has specified a dollar amount, it's not enough

Get this bit of MAGA "logic"

    SNIP
One of the attorneys for Lake, former Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright, claimed that Lake’s statements about Richer were merely her opinions backed up by provable facts, and therefore protected speech.

When Lake said that Richer was somehow involved in the illegal injection of bogus ballots or that he “sabotaged” the election, those statements weren’t meant to be taken as facts, Wright said.

“Those are her opinions about the facts,” Wright told the court.
    ENDSNIP

Nobody is taking that as a fact, ya moron.... but if you cannot prove that in any meaningful way (and yes, it's on HER team to do), it's defamatory

Think we'll have another fun defamation case to follow soon.

The ladies can go after America's Payer immediately, according to today's ruling.

    More winning!!

    SNIP
Two Georgia election workers recently awarded nearly $150 million by a jury for the harm caused by defamatory statements Rudy Giuliani made about them following the 2020 election can begin trying to collect from him immediately, according to a new court order.

Typically, the women who had sued Giuliani and won would have to wait 30 days to begin attempting to claim his assets in other states. But Judge Beryl Howell of the DC District Court, who oversaw the high-profile trial last week, gave Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman’s attorneys the ability to attempt to collect on Wednesday.

Moss and Freeman’s team have already identified assets Giuliani has in New York and Florida, such as properties in both states, according to court documents. His New York co-op apartment has been listed for sale at more than $6.1 million, and Moss and Freeman’s lawyers have also noted he has a new deal for a Newsmax streaming show that may indicate some income, in addition to other media appearances he makes.

It won't surprise me if Giuliani ends up in the poor house. Perhaps Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman end up in luxury apartment on Park Avenue. Perhaps in a luxury Mansion somewhere.

Rudy Giuliani, facing a $146 million judgment, files for bankruptcy in New York
Rudy Giuliani has filed for bankruptcy just days after a jury in Washington, D.C., returned a $148 million verdict against him for defaming two former Georgia election workers. The filing in New York came after a court ordered that Giuliani must immediately pay $146 million of what he owes to the former poll workers, Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss.

Have you heard? Guess what has just happened? Rudy Giuliani had filed for bankruptcy! That's taking the easy way out from paying Freeman and Moss. I consider this absurd. Giuliani wants to get out of paying anybody. He thinks he can get his buddy Trump to bail him out of this and find a way to get out of paying the two Georgia workers anything.

His defamation suit is't and will follow him forever.
Since he was ordered to start paying now his only option is an appeal which means he would have to post 146-8 million bond, just like Trump did with the 5 million to E J Carroll while appealing.
He lists assets at 10 million.

    It's explained in video.

His 500 million debt that he lists as the 146ish to Freeman and Moss
1 million + for lawyers fees he hasn't paid

Then on to the future potential debts.

    Hunter Biden
    Dominions
    Smartmetic
Ex-g'friend- assistant I guess would be in there too.
Probably his ex-wife Judith also somewhere in there.

Explained quite simply and Giuliani is royally ****ed..rightfully so!

Something tells me his NYC 6.1 million co-op and his Palm Beach, close to Mar a Lago, 2 million co-op are both mortgaged to the hilt and/or out of his name.
Recently it was reported that the taxes on the Florida property are overdue and some real estate holding company (?) was paying them and gave him a cut-off date.
Freeman and Moss can lay claim to his earnings, he gets money from the radio station he's blabs on every night and he supposedly just got a contract with Newsmax.
He'll remain the shameless, lying blithering idiot, claiming to be the victim of those evil Democrats.
