South Africa files genocide case against Israel at International Court of Justice over Gaza war

I think the point is- Israel has had enough. When the Palestinians have had enough, they will surrender the Hamas and release the hostages they haven't killed yet.

Ever hear the term "Katy, bar the door..."
That applies when the harassed have had enough and passive response is replaced with all hell breaking loose because nothing else works.
That's not a "crap tactic", it has been made necessary by Hamas. While the civilian loss is real- so was the instructions to leave the war zone and the opportunity to do so that Israel gave those civilians.
By staying, they chose to be shields, to die so that Hamas could call Israel evil. That was their choice- not Israel's.

It's amazing that the tactic works, and many people think they are righteous in blaming Israel and protecting the most vicious terrorists of modern times.

The history of South Africa is not exactly one to preach from.

 

I'm reminded of a conversation I had in Kazakhstan with my Russian interpreter about having a beer together, You do like beer, yes, I asked.

Oh what a poor apology for Genocide say many - at minimum "Ethnic Cleansing". The 8000 Children have no ability to surrender Hamas.. even if they wanted to .. Nor do the innocent civilians ... the mothers and the fathers of the dead .. but even if this were the case .. Collective punishment of the child for the sins of the Father is a War Crime .. and violation of one of the Oldest Rule of Law principles on the Books .. both Secular and Biblical.

This is in addition to a major "Sin of Omission" .. the backdrop that Israel is the Occupier .. same as Russia in Ukraine .. that Israel has been committing Ethnic Cleansing for 7 Decades .. "From the River to the Sea" .. funneling people in to the open air concentration camp known as Gaza .. herd them up and treat them like animals and slaughter them like animals .. such is the Lot of the all Palestinians in the Occupied Territories .. but worst is the lot in Gaza.

And what ? - some of these animals escaped the Cage and committed atrocity .. animals that we helped get into power .. and now we use this as an excuse for collective punishment of millions of innocent people .. mostly children and women .. an excuse for massive crimes against humanity .. on full view.

So Israel should just allow attacks against them as they experience in Oct. and just allow Islamic radicals to destroy them? If this is a failure for that protection what should they do to succeed that they have not already tried when dealing with radical extremist Arabs?

 

Mere revenge would not require an invasion, special forces could execute revenge killings.

Israel was attacked across their borders AND hostages were taken back into the enemy territory. YES the people living in Gaza became the enemy in war against Israel. Was WW2 about revenge?

Israel should surrender all of their current land to Hamas, and move all of their citizens to The Villages in Orlando.

 

Give me the alternate. If they cannot fight their enemy which crossed their border in a horrendous act of war then what are they to do?

 

I wish there was another alternative but I shudder to think what a red team president would be doing at this time.

Given that South Africa is actively engaged in genocide against its caucasian citizens, it seems a bit ludicrous of them to criticize others for protecting their nation against terrorists.... South Africa has joined places like Rwanda and Somalia, and the Sudan as the shining example of what butt hurt authoritarians are willing to do against defenseless citizens of their own nation. It's time we start calling them out for their own abuses of their own citizens.

This new war is just making things worse for that area. Neither side is willing to compromise in any way. While that continues it won't get better. Hamas is a poor steward of Gazs, whereas Abbas in the West Bank has some semblance of order and commerce.

 

That was my post and if you don't have an alternative to the Israeli actions so that Israel is guarantied their safety and Hamas surrenders then you don't have much room to complain about what they ARE doing to insure their own safety against an enemy who decided to go to war with them.
