Other nations need to follow south African lead. If anybody know the true horror of racist brutality it's south Africans. The ANC fought and beat these white supremacists during the apartheid years and they have the BLUEPRINT!

    No.

Should people on the West Bank just have to 'grin and bear it when another country/government' steals their land and forces them to live an existence of apartheid?

Your accusing me of supporting genocide'ish?

I think a genocide is intended to kill as many civilians as possible. If Israel said "you all are highly advised to leave before we do this" clearly, it's not genocide.

The number of dead civilians sure doesn’t make it clear to me, but you make a decent point.

imo, warning someone to leave their home otherwise you'll kill them is tantamount to genocide.

The land was used to ATTACK ISRAEL in a previous WAR. They had their land and their own government and they decided to go to war AGAIN against Israel.

Yes "targeting" being the key word. How has targeted and purposely killed women and children? Hama and the Palistinians yet you refuse to hold them accountable and urge their success.

It think the responsibility is on Hamas and the Palestinians for starting the war and then placing their citizens in harms way just so they could give anti-Semites fodder for propaganda.

Dodge and diversions, about which I am entirely aware historically and that they have no bearing here, noted.

    Again
Japan killed 3000 on Dec. 7th. Should the United States have stopped at 3000 or 6000 or 12000. What is this factor being claimed exist in the rules of war?

China is not the United States. We lost 3000 to the Japanese in the attack should we have limited Japanese deaths to 3000? Should we have just cleaned up after the attack and hope they didn't do it again as is being asked of Israel? When did this rule about proportionality become a rule of war?

As I've said before, the complete lack of caring for others not of your race is shared by the Israeli's.
Are you claiming we stole Hawaii from Japan and kicked them off the island? Are you claiming we blockaded the Islands of Japan, bombed them, shot them, kidnapped them, and stole from them prior to the bombing of Pearl Harbor?

They are taking steps and war is not perfect it is ugly it is deadly to soldiers and citizens alike and perhaps the Palestinians should have considered that before starting this war. Placing your military leaders and HQ's in the middle of civilians is a war crime and makes YOU responsible for those deaths if they occur. This is war just as was WW2 and WW1 and Korea and yes even Viet Nam. When one side attacks the other in a clear illegal act of war they, their military and civilians, will bear the consequence of the total war to eradicate them and eliminate any future threat by them.

The Palestinians could surrender NOW and it would end.

Did the Egyptians agree to this or are you just wanting a repeat of history?
    Umm, no.

Egyptian Hieroglyphs dated 1150 B.C. refer to the region as Paleset. This is far closer to Palestine than Israel.
The Old Testament consistently states it is not a history book by referring the readers to history books if they want to read history.

If you are truly secular as you claim, this video is relevant to you.

From a secular point of view, you statements are silly and downright hateful.

But rather than waste time with the rest of your post and I'm going to see if you have the courage to answer the following question:

What did the Palestinians do to deserve the Balfour Declaration?

While you obviously define facts with a filter, consider this.

People will interfere in most everything under the right circumstances. The British in the colonial times did so extensively, such as in India. The Balfour resolution was, like most external efforts, done to solve one problem by creating another. The land we call Israel has been conquered, occupied and conquered again many times by many people. It's up to us to put an end to that.

There are two primary issues driving the current conflict.

First is the "Palestinians" do not have a true state. I'm in favor of them having that. However, they have turned down several plans to provide that. I'm saying many people have tried to help that come about, and the leaders of the Palestinians have turned those plans down everytime. A key reason is that they want that state to be the land known as Israel- and they don't want any Jews there. And they don't want any compromise. There are Palestinians living in Israel. There are no Israelis living in Gaza (except prisoners) or for that matter any Islamic nation I know of. The Israelis practice tolerance, the Muslims do not.

Second is that the hatred of the Palestinians toward the Jews is sustained not by reason, but by dictates of the Islamic religion. When Mohammed, who was a self-made preacher of sorts at the time, told people he had experienced a revelation and declared himself the prophet of god, he demanded that all people accept that declaration, and make him leader. The Jewish people refused- so Mohammed said they all must die. He made that a covenant of the religion he was building- Islam. He gave his followers a target for hate, to blame all their shortcomings on. He was a smart guy, and manipulated people so well it continues today, 1400 years later. Same philosophy- if you aren't a Muslim, we want you dead. Jews first, but all non-believers are on the list.

There is no way I know of to change that. All we can do is recognize it is so, and the way it distorts this issue and every relationship between Israel and Muslims. If you doubt this, (it's in the Koran, I have a copy) just look up the cell phone calls that the Israelis captured as the Hamas attackers called home on Oct 7th. One man called his parents, and with the kind of pride a kid would have after hitting a home run and winning the game- told his parents he had just killed 10 Jews with his own hands. That's what this is really about, embedded hatred within a cult-like religious base. So powerful- that killing jewish babies is an accomplishment with pride instead of horror and shame. That's what Israel has to deal with.

While the arguments can be endless- the name "Palestine" came from the Philistines. The majority of biblical archeologists translate a set of hieroglyphs from around the 13th century BC as "Israel", the first instance of the name in the record, 3300 years ago. Under the British Mandate (1920-1948), the whole region was known as 'Palestine'. That included what is known as Jordan... yet the Jordanian people do not want Palestinians coming there. In fact, while there are vast lands in the possession of Arab countries, there is little welcome for Palestinians among them and no offers of lands for a Palestine state.

I don't know the answer- but I do know the answer is not to allow hate to prevail. The Jewish people are great contributors, and they seek peace- but they know they must also be strong enough to defend themselves. When I say contributors, one example is that the probability of a Jew being awarded a Nobel prize exceeds that of a Muslim by 138 to one. People make themselves what they are by their choices and actions- and they alone can change that. They make themselves valuable and deserving by their contributions. The Jews do- the Muslims, not so much. In my opinion, the Jews deserve their homeland more than any people on earth. The Palestinians need to adjust their thinking- and put down the hate. If they did, the help would be a lot easier to do.

By doing it again and worse than before?

That's illogical and doesn't answer the question

The rest you wrote is irrelevant to the question and I tire of pointing out the same mistakes.

Since you were unable to identify anything Palestinians did to deserve the Balfour agreement, I'll just have to assume you believe rape, murder, and and theft en masse are perfectly fine as long as you are powerful enough to get away with it.

Made all your previous hate statements invalid.

And Israel bears no responsibility for … you know … actually killing civilians?

So, you think you are not obligated to hear anything except the answer you want? Small kids do that. Adults don't- or shouldn't. You can't narrow things down to one point and base the entire conclusion on it.
This is why there is no communication possible here. If you distort everything and ignore what you don't want to hear, you have no position. Your opinions don't deserve consideration, and you aren't capable of solving anything. Your choice.

Criminals and little children refuse to answer questions. Law-abiding adults do not fear the light.

Very simply, before anything else, the decision was made to steal land and sovereignty from the Palestinians. You can either denounce this decision or support it. You've posted in support of it. At that point, you can put your head in the sand or realize that you are supporting something which is evil. Or you can point out the great crime Palestine did to deserve it. But you can't have a truthful opinion with your head in the sand.

What you believe about this colors everything after it.

We'll be talking in circles until you answer that question. You'll say Palestine was offered a state. I will say this never happened and I will point out that they were offered the opportunity to give away most of their property to foreigners while having the rest stolen by force or just having all of their property stolen by force. And then you'll repeat that Palestine was offered a state. And in circles we go.

I am not interested in this especially with someone who is not willing to be honest about their viewpoint. You can answer the question and be honest about your point of view or you can try to debate dishonestly, ignore me, or reply with ad hominem's.

    In war.

    Yes.

    Absolutely yes.

He'll, I give Israel a lot of credit for even giving the warning.

Could you imagine German soldiers putting their kids on the beach at D-Day thinking that's going to stop an invasion? You want to criticize the invaders and not those that hide behind kids and use human shields?

    Silly.
